  1. Phenomenal job on a breathtaking replica, Uwe!!!
  2. STUNNING build, Randy - you have enticed me to break down and spend the money to get this kit!!!
  3. Neat jack-o-lantern, Jon!!! Do friends and family sometimes wonder if you spend too much time with Exacto tools in your mitts???
  4. WOW......
  5. Hi Dave - if you are asking about dragin_plastic, they are indeed the same outfit. I saw the LX coupe advertised and asked them point-blank if they were. They responded(surprisingly!) in the affirmative.
  6. Neat concept done with surgical cleanliness - the pics remind me of one of the various Mint offerings!!!
  7. Wonderful replica, Wayne, and an ever more wonderful gesture on your part!! I'm sure the recipient will treasure it.
  8. First off, congratulations on the new truck, Casey!! I just hope you didn't have to sell the F-250 in order to get it(I have an 86 F-250 4x4 with a 460 as well). If I were you, I would leave the stance as it appears. Looks as if you are well on your way to a well-done replica of your ride!!
  9. Given the current state of affairs at RC2 I am not gonna hold my breath just yet, but it certainly would be welcomed. If this reissue comes to be, I imagine it will burst a few bubbles on collector prices as well!! Thank you for passing the info along, Dylan!!
  10. Beautiful replica, Chris - definitely captures the essence of the "Wurlitzer on Wheels"!! This has to be the nicest interpretation of the Flinstone body I have seen.
  11. Nicely done Impala droptop, brewster!! You will want to add your name to your signature, though - that is a rule here. Welcome aboard!!!
  12. Neat concept for your little Chevy II, Charlie!! Tell us - does an ice bucket make a good paint stand, and how suitable is a Days Inn shower enclosure as a paint booth??
  13. Beautiful job, Chris! You certainly did justice to one of my all-time favorite kits!! Sad to think that the tooling for this most likely ended up being scrapped.
  14. WOW - you have done some INCREDIBLE conversion work upon the body!! It looks so cleanly done I am sure you get many "Where'd ya buy the resin kit?" inquiries about it!!!
  15. Neat model, Bobby, but the story behind its creation is even better!! Consider yourself blessed to have such wonderful and thoughtful friends!!
  16. Real, I think....dang you, Harry!!!
  17. Definitely an original take on the Deora - it reminds me of something that could've sprung forth from the Hot Wheels studio in the sixties, or possibly an innovative R.V. manufacturer. Execution and workmanship is first rate, Mike!!
  18. A street machine constructed that long ago that doesn't appear dated is surely the sign of a very sound and well-executed vision. In that respect, you could consider your Chevelle a "timeless' piece!!
  19. CONGRATULATIONS - you have wrought success from a kit that has introduced the concept of agonizing failure to countless teenaged boys since the sixties!!! Wonderful job on finessing a difficult to nigh-unto impossible to build little cuss!!
  20. Nice Pony, Brian - it's refreshing to see one that hasn't been given the faux "Eleanor" treatment!!! The Torque-Thrusts add a timeless classic musclecar appeal, as well!!
  21. That is a lovely, extremely tasteful job of customizing the Stude - the paint and the wheel choice just looks so RIGHT. Very nice craftsmanship, too!!!
  22. Time Machine Resins http://www.timemachineresin.bravehost.com/index.html offers a repop of the MPC 70 Bonneville 2 door hardtop. I bought mine through EvilBay for around $25.00. It's a nice casting - consistent thickness, few pinholes and very little flash.
  23. BEAUTIFUL - the finish and hinged doors make it resemble a "Mint" offering!! The suspended pedals add greatly to the interior realism, as does the correct spare tire and rim. Replica stock doesn't get much nicer than this!!
  24. Great looking racer, Ron!! Kind of a "stealth" replica - there more one looks, the subtle detailing added becomes more apparent!!
  25. Nicely done blast from the past!! Somehow, the skirts and disc covers look almost restrained now - of course, they didn't get the honored treatment of using half a tube of glue to install them, followed by a lovingly hand-slathered coat of Red Devil enamel!!
