Rolin'... in my five point oh, with the ragtop down, so the hair can blow!!! Nice looking Pony!! You got me really interested in those sleeves... Just curious: if compared to the kits standard wheels, will the sleeved rims clearly be larger, or ....? I know they will be wider, but larger?

Best Carbon decals?
matthijsgrit replied to matthijsgrit's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Thanks guys! To take this one step further: My guess is for seats the Kevlar look is nice. Correct? For body panels: Twill weave or Hi-Definition Composite Fiber? Which one? I appreciate your help! MG -

Ditto! Got my new one in the stash already... -
Dear fellow model builders. For some future projects (1/24 or 1/25), I'm looking to buy carbon fiber decals. I want to use these on hoods/roofs/trunk lids/spoilers/diffusers and seats. Which brand and type of decals do you prefer for the mentioned applications and why? Thanks! Matthijs

Nice car! Has seen some hard times, though... great to see another Auto ID!

Thanks guys! I really appreciate it! I really liked this kit. So..., I've got another one that I wanna build, someday. That will have a resin Camaro body (I believe that one came from Southern Motorsports (?)) and twin turbo (by TDR innovations) BBC.

Thanks!!

Hi All, Didn't build a lot this year, but I'm glad to have finished this, This is done box stock, except for the color and the decals. Basicly, I bought the kit for the decals. They fought me al the way though ... All in all I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

1/24 Scale 3D Printed Engines
matthijsgrit replied to Metalmad's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I've bought some stuff from TDRinnovations via Shapeways. They do offer complete engines, but I only bought some parts. But, their stuff looks really smooth to me. MG -
Great project!!! I have a question though: what tires are you using with those rims? Thanks!
