  1. I had to pick this kit up A.S.A.P.! As you may have figured out by now that I'm huge fan of Mopar race cars, especially those from the '60s and '70s. Another great Möbius kit. Very accurate and goes together quite well . Only thing that I suggest that you do is to test fit the windshield and rear glass. What I do is to not prime, or paint the window frame where the glass contacts. Paint build up may prevent the glass from fitting properly. This car is strictly out of my imagination as I would imagine one of these cars would look in 1965 - '67. Walt's Auto and Showdown decals were made by me. The paint is Tamiya Pure Red (TS-86). No clear was applied as I wanted the paint to look somewhat realistic. It was just compounded and polished. Very few parts were outsourced. ( headers and roll bar)
  2. Great job on a classic kit! Just keep an eye out for those 1/24 scale termites!
  3. Great detail work! From the engine to the valve stems!
  4. Thanks for the nice comments. Sorry, I can't tell you where those wheels originated. I literally have hundreds of wheels and tires. You tend to accumulate a lot of parts when you've been building for over 60 years!
  5. Thank you! I made the decals using clear ink jet paper and the Free Form app on my iMac. You can find quite a few tutorials on decal making . I use an inexpensive Canon printer and decal paper that I bought on line.
  6. Another Möbius Super Stock car just for fun. Club theme for October was black and orange cars or spooky cars. I whipped this one up.
  7. Very unique! Totally cool!
  8. Well done! The time spent on the under hood detailing was well worth it!
  9. Very well done!
  10. TThank you!
  11. Those are both terrific!
  12. In paint. This is the scoop that I decided on.
  13. Some not so good news . I lost all of the recent “ in progress “ photos of this project. It is near completion and in paint. I have changed out the engine from a small block Chevy to a Mopar wedge and decided to change the name of the car as well but I kept the spy theme. Next photos will be in the completed section very soon!
  14. It was great to see that Atlantis now has the Miss Deal tooling and the kit is available!
  15. I saw this at Chryslers at Carlisle. Great minds think alike!?
  16. This scoop is NOT working for me. Gonna have to find something else! Notice the radius rods. I dropped the car but caught it before it hit the floor . Unfortunately. I broke the plastic radius rods. Stainless tubing replaced the kit parts.I think that they actually look better. Happy accident?
  17. Cool project! Are you going to do a diorama with me at the microphone? ?
  18. Interior will be very spartan. Just a shifter and a few gauges
  19. Piecing together a roll cage. Not sure I like the way it’s going. May start over from scratch.
  20. I must have missed this one at first. Better late than never…. Awesome job! Looks great from all aspects!
  21. That’s because this car only runs in reverse!?
  22. Yes, I believe it ran in the Pacific Northwest.
  23. This is coming out very well! Decals look great!
  24. Chassis work continues: I fabricated these bars and I made some front shocks from aluminum tubing. Interior tub gets quite hacked up! Meet the driver! An Ulrich Mini man. These figures are posable. I drilled and pinned the joints to get him in the correct pose. By using pins, you can adjust all the joints.
  25. The very versatile Miss Deal chassis
