White Freightliner info needed
jacobus replied to Badluck 13's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
hallo mike on hank truckpictures you find a picture of a freightliner whit a short fueltank and batterybox a other company but for example i think its nice russel macneil vintage truck pictures page 29 hope its helps and wil follow the project jacobus -
the worse problem whit this kits are the windows to place them ,becouse the dash has very little space if you put him compleet in the the cab and what geoff said the backpanel as last but also fit it first before the panel comes [dont forget the top sealing inside] first thing i do is the bottomfloor whit the seats dryfit in the cab so you know if its fit properly, once i have make the cab complete and paint and from the bottom the floor inside very tricky becouse the panels on the doors make it small hope its helps now i am just finishd whit the cab of a peterbilt at least 50 time,s dry fitt before the glue came on jacobus

after more than a month only work have a couple of days free so a little building on the white and some things figured out, whit a very strange airintake thats going true the cab and ended on the right side on the chassis [picture of barry bertram]

jacobus replied to BigBad's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
i have a book of the history of kenworth it started as gerlinger motor company in 1915 and the first constuction was a gersix truck the take the ger from gerlinger and a six from the concept of big six cilinder motor its a long story til 1922 on 23 december when the name kenworth was born after a lot of suggestions the have a combination of mr kent and mr worthington the kenworth motor truck corporation was formed i hope that its helps for the history of this beautiful truck i love those kenworth,s jacobus
