  1. That's the wildest and most colorful paint scheme I've ever seen, whether full scale or not. Way to go Rom!!
  2. Pedal looks great Chris. Now about your Pro Tech supplies. I see a couple of 4 barrels and I know Don didn't run them on his Vega so what's up your sleeve?
  3. Man Dave, this is totally off the charts. Love every bit of this amazing build. Excellent tutorial BTW. Thanks for putting that together and posting it.
  4. Most excellent Chris. This is really coming together.
  5. I'm on the edge of my seat and will continue to be until you make post another update. Looking superb Rom.
  6. This looks great Chuck. Is this your next build? If so, I'm looking forward to watching over your shoulder.
  7. These look great Chuck. Looking forward to see what else you have in store.
  8. Ah, now you've done it...those look awesome as does everything on this build.
  9. Y E A ! Romell got a kitchen pass and he's coming. Looking forward to meeting you...and seeing your incredible builds. Now I need to know what you're bringing for the tables so I can find a different category so I at least have a slight chance.
  10. Very nice Charlie. I know these seem like small steps but they're spectacular.
  11. Again today, I got to see this rare beauty and hold it in my hands. Chris really has done a freegin' fabulous job on this and I can say that the pictures just don't protray the level of detail and craftsmanship that he has put into this incredible build. DS8 may be the only place he has it on display so I encourage anyone who is able to make it to do so.
  12. OK, so now is this chassis done so you can move onto something else? LOL This is really a stunning build Chris and I, for one, am glad to see you making all of these details. Looking forward to seeing ot in person next month.
  13. I think it needs some razor wire separating the colors of matte black and gloss black or dark grey
  14. OK, here's that pic of the manifold back fire valves as mentioned above. The photo is just a bit dark but I think you get the idea. Also a pic of the redone magneto. I used a piece of radio antenna tubing for this as it has the rolled edge at the bottom and its chrome and works better in this instance than aluminum tubing.
  15. WOW! I have some of those runner rivets around here and now I finally know what to use them for. They're a different type of rivet as they're solid and have a flat head. Your engine is looking spectacular Jack. Keep after it.
  16. A simple questions for you experts on these fire suppression systems as these are new to me since I normally build vintage racers. It looks like they use a hard bendable tubing on all of the lines and not a braided type of line? How much psi do these bottles have? All of this is so interesting and I thank you for your posting the diagrams and descriptions.
  17. Beautiful stuff Tyrone. Waiting for the tape to come off. Now if you could only set your butt on a copier and reduce yourself down to the correct scale, I swear this thing would fire right up.
  18. That is gorgeous!! So clean and sterile. I'm a big fan of your work Charlie as well as your products. Keep at it as I can't wait to see this build completed. Another masterpiece in the making.
  19. Now that is nice. Can't wait to see the finished build.
  20. Glad you joined us Louie. From your photos, I see you'll fit right in here. Welcome aboard.
  21. Progress is slow on this build since the weather has been so nice. Here in the desert, spring is here and gone before you know it and then its too hot to do anything outside except swim. Anyway, here's a picture showing the injector plumbing and the bracket for the idler pulley. A bit of the paint wore off so that will need some touch up. Although they can't be seen in this photo, the front of the intake manifold has the back fire valves fitted with Scale Hardware 0.5 screws and hand wound springs. I'll try to get a picture of those later. Next up is to make a magneto and get the plug wires done.
  22. AWESOME!! Here's a couple of hotels that are rated 4 1/2 stars that are at Interstate 17 and W. Greenway about a mile or so from the Postal Workers Hall where the DSC is being held. I am really looking forward to hooking up with you Rom. Your brother-in-law too. You should plan on going home on Sunday though as there is usually a BBQ after the event. BTW - great progress Chris. I don't suppose this will be done for DSC, will it?
  23. How in the heck did I miss this build? So incredible and innovative John. Another epic build and I really enjoyed going through every post this morning.
  24. Hey Chris and Rom, its been about a year for my Fiat too so neither of you is alone on that front. Great progress Chris and glad to hear you'll be getting more time in. Rom - you just have to make it out to Desert Scale Classic if there's any way possible. Be good to meet you and see some of your builds in person.
