  1. This is really looking good Bill. I'd like to point out the exhaust pipes you've chosen for this engine. You chose the kit hemi but used the small block exhaust pipes with the two center ones close together. Hopefully this can be changed without too much trouble. I'm looking forward to your paint job and color choice. Any ideas in mind?
  2. I can also attest to the highest of quality of Mark's resin engines. I have an early 392 of his and have plans later on for its use. He's also a great guy to deal with as I had the opportunity to meet him and see his workshop. I'm looking forward to your build as well Tim. Let us know when you get a thread started.
  3. Man that is so nice brother. Stellar. I feel like having a chicken sandwich now, thanks alot.
  4. Where in the heck did you get that huge pencil?? You still haven't answered me. Also, your fingers don't look much different than mine. How come mine don't work like yours? Total amazement. "These were a pain to assemble?" Really? I'll bet they were. Doesn't seem humanly possible in 1/25th scale.
  5. Thanks Dave and Ray, two local guys whom I've yet to meet. Hopefully we can connect at DSC this year.
  6. I'll print them and have them at the show. So I take it you're going Greg?
  7. Those look great Art. Did the tire decals come in the kit?
  8. OK, that makes sense Tom. I'll do it in smaller type under the forum name.
  9. Thank you very much my brothers. Your interest in this build is greatly appreciated. Yes, Chris, its great to be almost done with this one. I have others to get back to that need to be completed. Joe - thanks for looking for a taller set of pie crusts. And yes, pie sounds really good about now. A reference book on this build would be great but I think I'll just type out a sheet and see how much I can get on it. Please stay tuned, I'm not done with this one yet.
  10. While I wait for the number part of the decals to be reprinted and mailed, here's a preview of the rest of them in place. While working on the body fitment, the grip portion of the steering wheel was knocked off. I've tried twice to glue it back on but the small amount of contact area makes this a real challenge. I've decided to wait until everything else is done so that will be the last thing I do so I don't knock it off again. Hang with me, this'll get done.
  11. Love your unique idea of cutting the body out for the grill and making it an insert instead of just gluing it on top. Looks so much better. This is really coming along and its great to see it in primer. Well done.
  12. That's so true…he can build almost as fast as words can be written.
  13. Sheer perfection once again brother. Dang gummit, that switch is tiny. Good to talk with you the other day.
  14. I'll be putting the forum name since that's how folks will know you.
  15. I have that kit but have other plans for it one day. Yours came out great, small and all.
  16. Well dang it. My decals came in and they're slightly oversized. Entirely my fault. I've shrunk the artwork down on the file and have printed them out to check the new reduced size before sending them off to Chief Joseph again.
  17. No Tom, sorry, I didn't take any photos but I'm thinking I need to add a couple more hung up clothes, so I will post how I do it. Stay tuned.
  18. I'm all out of drool. Man - that is one beautiful machine. I think it looks better than the original.
  19. Those schouder straps loo great Niko although I've never understood them. The ones on the bottom portion of the seat connect to each other, so where do the shoulder harnesses connect?
  20. Thanks Richard. I'm still plugging away at it. Working on Dale's battery operated record player at the moment based on the third picture in the first post in this thread. It will go on the top shelf in the wardrobe closet along with a few album covers.
  21. I'm all worded out John. I don't have any new descriptive adjectives to describe how I feel about this beauty. Just know that I love it and can't wait to see it in April at DSC.
