  1. Is there a way to change the title at the bottom of each pic in the bank?? Possibly put each person that owns the pics name instead of the numbers. The new guys just see em think ok I can get that maybe if they know other are either using them or own them they'll find another.
  2. It's only certain ones I think cause I never seen mine in there
  3. Anybody have any idea what this engine is?? Its been in my stash for a while and appears to be missing only the accessories ??? If it even had any?? and the headers both of which could be an easy fix if I wanted too. Seems to have been mounted in at an angle according to the glue marks on the bottom end so Maybe its a Mopar slant but it coulda been put in wrong. The green and chrome are the kit colors if that helps any. The molder on tranny ends where it is in the pic its not broken off. Anybody have any idea what this relic is and where it came from so I can check it out. Looks like it could be made into a cool custom or drag engine to me. Here a couple pics from other angles to hopefully help in its id
  4. Harry he's right its in the preloaded ones we can chhose from. Its like the forum picks the ones it likes and steals em lol. I seen some in there that I know are pics of the person that created it or a model someone used as an avatar. Its weird maybe one of the high ups can explain this
  5. Mine is a fastback was a inline 6 model GLX but now is a dead monster plannin on puttin a 351w in within a year or so. Bout all it needs now since the body is complete with the pace car nose and the interior is redone in 93 parts
  6. Been gathering parts for her again since I found what I think is a 351 in complete enough form to work with. It actually has valve covers and a Carb too but I done pulled em to see if the engine could be saved. I think I have almost everything I need save for a few minor details like the fact I don't have an 87 T bird turbo coupe to steal the rims from. Oh well I can't totally finish this one till the real one is done lol. The body was sent to me in a trade and was accurate except the grille which is a minor fix. The car was a Monogram Cafe Racer and was in great shape when I got it, but some of yall know how that goes lol. The interior will be a close match to my real one which is actually easy since Monogram happen to have a 93 fastback in their lineup lol All I have to do is graft an 82 style dash and console to the 93 tub hehe And yea I know the console is a bit back lol I started the conversion before I recieved the car and didn't realize exactly how the dash set in the tub. Easy fix tho
  7. Thats cool as heck I'd be messin all over myself if I found that lol. Well I'd mess all over myself If I found out my 82 was something lol
  8. By the way Stanley that is nice conduit work I worked for a while with an electrician when he was first starting his business and that was one of his things. It had to look right so he did it and made us pull the wire
  9. Dang I guess I'm the boring one here lol I'm just an Oil change and tire tech at a Walmart Tire Lube. Now before yall start the horror stories lemme say my store has been open 5 years and have yet to loose any wheels or have engine die lol. It all comes back to what Stanley said ya have to take pride in what ya do which we do and is why we don't have the horror stories
  10. Dave ya caught my attention PM sent I'm glad you mentioned the Arrowhead on the wheels They were still box stock from the junker and I hadn't realized they were there till you mentioned it lol
  11. Rollin yep Dunno if it will be as good but I'll give it a chance. I'm a true Stang guy so I won't complain about that lol Crispy thanks Now that I've gotten the new spoiler I plan on getting him and the 4000 done soon
  12. Thought I'd pull this one back out and get back on it again. I've always loved Knight Rider so I had to have a model of KITT. I had the AMT kit but it never did look right to me. So he got neglected When Revell reissued the 91 Formula I knew what I was gonna do. Get em together and started switching a few key parts in this pic ya can tell the AMT KITT is already being ravaged lol After just a bit of work I ended up with a Revell Bird with an AMT nose only took a bit of Super Glue, bending the lower edges of the fenders in a bit and some sanding to get a nice fit. The AMT rims fit on the Revell Axles using the BF Goodrichs from the AMT. The project sat for a while because I wrecked the spoiler. I got a new one so he's back out Refitted the lights to the front bumper. ( the Nose originally didn't have any so I put em in ) I've cut T tops into the Revell body. This was one thing I forgot about in the planning lol and it was about the hardest thing to do on the conversion so far. Another shot of the tops showing the dash fitted. It still needs some details but is there. Had to mod the Revell dash to accept the KITT dash which almost appears to be what AMT did just a bit cleaner underneath than mine lol Right now I'm working on widening the replacement spoiler I got to fit this car and I'll post up more progress soon. Plus look for the post on the 4000 soon
  13. Hmmmm this makes me rethink the Bucket body I have I was thinking of doin a bucket but it seemed too short now I'll have to rethink that
  14. I'm here to let you guys know Frank Steffens is a good guy to deal with. He offered to send me a set of Dog dish rims for my Chevelle and true to his word he did just that plus he included another set in with them. He's one guy I will have no fear of striking deals with in the future. Thank you Frank

I Finally finished this thing. After I found some pics of it online the other day. Built basically Box Stock with a differeent set of tires and Exhaust ports. Left the kit supplied lense off the taillight bucket because my source says it didn't have the lense but the bucket was the taillights stole a bit of wood decal from the Lincoln kit, But it never wanted to come out quite right A few pics from my source
  16. Frank that would be awesome I'll send out a pm to ya
  17. Bet ya thought ya was gonna look at yet another 32 Tudor sedan didn't ya ?? Well It isn't hehehe I've had this old Sedan Delivery body for a while now And had even started on it once but wasn't liking how it came out. Pic sof far Shows the general look I think it needs. Don't mind that engine in the rails. It's coming out in favor of a Starliner motor from my junkyard
  18. I'm looking for pics of the stock rim for a 66 Chevelle wagon I'm mainly looking for the dog dish style thanks
  19. I know ya was testin loading a pic But I gotta say that is one sweet 32
  20. First I wanna say if this is out of line or against board rules to post this please remove and I'll totally understand Received my last issue today read in the editorial some info I've seen worried about on most boards. It states those that are still subscribed and have issues of TC&M will instead receive Old Cars Weekly Mag At a 1:4 ratio ( 4 OCW for every 1 TC&M you have left coming ) Its good to see they are at least giving the loyal readers compensation for what they paid for instead of just vanishing.
  21. Nice pickup Stuff in the bed looks great same stuff you see in pickups all the time. Too bad the guy damaged that steelie tho musta been a heck of a ride when he hit whatever took the lip of the off
  22. I'm goin with the superior latch design lol Besides they go plenty fast look the two lead cars are Fords lol
  23. Mine takes a long time to load pics. I figure it has something to do with the fact I'm on Vista now or this Comp cause They loaded fast on the old comp. I usually just have to set up the few pics I want to load up and go off doing other things while waiting. Dunno what it is
  24. Will the car be able to be built as a street car out of the box ??? I really hope so that would save me a lot of the hassle I'm going through declassing my 55 into a 150
  25. Finally finished my 1st build of 08. Not the most spectacular car ever lol. Its a Tamiya Honda Jazz. I ended up with the motorized kit so it lack any detail underneath and the inside is comprimised in the back area but as a shelf model it looks pretty good. I did this one as just a quick build for fun. No paint on the body except a bit of trim a basic painting of the interior by using the black where it called out to contrast it a bit and give it less a toy look. Overall I'm quite happy with how it came out only thing I disliked was the pins that hold the front wheels on show through the front rims.
