Hey Phillip I'm gonna watch this one too gotta love the Stangs lol What color ya plannin??
-
Not the most Major update but it was one of the few things keeping this car back. The hood lol The car that inspired me has a Shelby style Scoop on a stock style hood. I liked the idea so wanted to do it on mine My hood His hood Dang Ron had me fooled for a bit thinkin that was a Shelby nose missing the running lights lol
-
Hehehe Low Leavin a few hoses off won't hurt the motor detail in that car lol I never open the hood on mine lol
-
Nice job on the little Fox. I personally prefer the wingless look myself and leave the spoiler off most Fastbacks I build lol Kelson Its a 79-82 Mustang with Mercury Capri fenders and the flares from the Mustang. Kinda an odd match and not sure why Revell did it seeing how they had a version with the correct fenders lol. But it gives a a nice look that I have seen on a few 1/1 Stangs.
-
Lol Actually I have that kit too but was trying to save most of it. I still have the Skyline??? ( I think it was a Skyline engine ) but traded a friend that needed it the 289. But No this one I will use the 289 from a Parts kit for the build. Didn't see many pics of the real one in my Stolen Idea pics lol so I'm goin on my own with it lol. Don't matter its not a full on replica of his I just love its style lol
-
Yep poor ole Rons car is stolen..... well in scale anyway lol I seen this pic of his car tonight and was hit by it then I realized I have that Stang model and rims like those heheehe well ya know the rest. While it won't be a dead on match for his it will be inspired by his. Heres the pic of the junk I gathered so far I'll be posting more soon

Best Settings For Digital Photos
Rick Schmidt replied to m408's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have a Samsung that I use on a tripod to keep it steady cause I suck at that lol I use it on a setting called Scene set for Close up Auto focus on Center AF and something called OSD info on Full. Dunno what all that means but other than the close up its as it was new. I can now take pics good enough to post up now. Like Ron said tho the tripod made a big difference -

This is my Daily driver A 2001 V6 Mustang Bone stock and I really have no plans to do anything to it. Heres the reason my 01 will have nothing done lol My 82 GLX Mustang if it can be changed on it it will be or already has been lol 79 pace car nose and rear hatch ( saved from a fool that was gonna race on the dirt track with the nose on ) 93 Model doors ( better design in the power window setup) and 93 interior just for the look i wanted. All that was done when she ran with her inline 6 but now that the motor quit She is patiently awaiting her 351 hehehe. The wifes car Just a basic little 88 Camry looks ugly but its a Toyota and still goes like one lol everything including the AC still works Our Work Monster ( replaced the prevoius work monster called the blue monster lol ) 92 Ford 150 5.0 long wide geared and sprung in the rear to pull not go fast by its previous and only owner lol. We still have yet to figure what that old man pulled with it lol. This is also what My wife drives a lot when its just her and maybe the kids. Our other project car just a basic 84 Stang with a 4 banger. Plans are to just redo it to a nice little driver for the wife -

Whoa!!! cool Idea !! I was sittin here tryin to figure out how this would work while I was trying to find the pics lol once I did find em I seen looks good too I also got another idea from ya pics lol actually something I shoulda done thought of but didn't The battery labels!! lol is there a site you use for those or do I need to go take pics of batteries at work ?? lol I work in a TLE at a Walmart so most of my models batteries get painted to resemble Everstarts lol the Labels would be an awesome addition to them
-
Nice start there That car can be a fun little build if you are out for just a nice little shelf model as I was
-
Finally got her done now. Got her Sittin on her rims and tagged so she's ready to go out and hunt down that Agent SUV hehe. I chose the rims I first experimented with. I was liking the Copperhead rims but she rejected em and every other rim in the box lol. I think these rims still suit the look of the car and don't detract from it. I thought about a suggestion to black out the stock rims for a while but decided since the interceptor was already sittin on blacked out Stock rims she'd look too much like the Interceptor with them. I actually think I managed to keep part of the old Midknight style alive in the car in the fact that even tho she is the exact same car as the Interceptor she still looks somewhat different Now we close up shop for a few days and let the techs have some well deserved time off hehehe

Should Wheels Turn?
Rick Schmidt replied to Clay's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I personally dont allow them to roll. I live in Lawton Oklahoma which is stuck to Ft Sill. Artillery is always going off here to the point if we got attacked we'd think it was the base lol. All the rounds going off combined with other activity tends to wreak havoc with rolling things lol. Just today they were flying Chinooks over town in gangs of 3 and 4 lol ya know how bad that vibrates things?? lol Its to the point where even on my diecasts and snap kits with metal axles I lock up at least one wheel/axle. -
Gregg cool I'll be looking into subscribing here soon then
-
Thanks Gregg Dunno why I couldn't find it lol. So I assume this is a paper Magazine that if I get it I can take it in the "Library " and read ?? hehehe
-
I keep seeing ya'll mention the Magazine, but can't find it or reference to it here other than in posts. Can someone tell me about it either here or in a PM please?. Is it a paper copy ( which I prefer ) or a online only thing? How can I order it ? Things like that lol . Now I'm off to look at this Emodel cars site yall have

Mike The car is My Version of the Knight Rider Me and a friend came up with these cars years ago And it took me that long to actually build one with the engine in it. As for the Guy he is just some little guy I found somewhere that kinda fit the look of the car so He got his 15 of fame lol
-
Got it finished up now the intake with the grille off And the top of the Turbine with the modified Hemi engine cover Lemme know what ya think and if ya have any ideas that could improve her let em out I'm startin another more refined car next
-
I agree with whats been said. I love most Lindberg kits. I know there are some that may be bad but don't all companies have bad kits. I veiw the Snap kits that were mentioned as a statement to true Lindberg quality If they made those as nice as they did they certainly can make other good kits I hope they get runnin as big as Revell is and AMT was because I'll buy em up
-
Started this one a few days ago. It was originally to be just a curbside build of one of my Midknight cars Til yesterday when I found the Turbine engine In my stash and decided to put in the engine all my Knights were supposed to have lol. Not actually sure where its from but it gets the job done and I have a few more somewhere. Car is pretty much Stock except for any rerofitting to install the turbine. Front veiw Mean looking enough?? I still got to put in the grille lol a veiw of the turbine as its being wired up. used a lot of the stock underhood components to depict other things that might be in a techno car lol. Stock engine cover is modded to work here sanded off the HEMI letters on the side and made up a new center piece with the Knight logo good thing about a car like this is theres no reference so whatever I put there under that hood is right lol

Been using a free account for two years. I do remember seeing the oppurtunity to go "Pro" as they call it and I think it does cost about 10 a month. Thats probably what ya seen

Fast And Furious Tokyo Drift Mustang
Rick Schmidt replied to Clay's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
As they said Its the regular AMT 67 stang It has another whole tree for the tuner stuff. Me not knowing one thing about that stuff I can't testify to its correctness. I bought the car because Of the extra hood hehehe Now where my Highland green and those wheels. Other than that extra tree and wheels its the same car -
