  1. Thanks Berk We all have our likes and your right about it lookin like a 69 with the lights but from the minute I seen the first 05s I thought 67 so thats the direction I went with this one
  2. Thanks guys 84 sorry I really don't know even tho I'm only 100 miles from okc and 200 I think from Tulsa I dunno what they got goin on up there If I hear anything I'll pm ya if ya like ?? Eric yes they are. They are wrapped in Maisto diecast tires for a lower profile ( posted a thread on this in tips ) They started on the Jada Stang but when I laid them down I seen the 67 rim nearby and realized the similarity Robert thanks Harry that one is great I assume its your work ?? Only thing I dislike is the Running lights in the grille Not you just don't like em on the gts period. Main reason I did my grille this way Nick I dunno how he does it lol I can barely make a nice model out a prebuilt model lol
  3. Got it done Finally have a new Stang with the styling cues Ford forgot when they retroed the car 67 GT grille... Yea so Ford didn't forget this cue but they put it on the wrong model 67 GT side stripes and ponies on the fenders......Ok so Ford didn't forget the ponies either but again they are on the wrong model. but I think they ruined the side stripes with the new ones, and the new rims Stock tail with a pony on the faux gas cap (instead of the GT letters ) And 67 Tips hehehe
  4. Bill Thats a nice look too. Seems I'm not the only one who has been trying to find new tires for these rims Wonder what other options there are ??
  5. Yep just as the title says I found a good tire to fit the extra rims in your Revell Magnum kits. I see this as a way to make use of the stock rims and the Custom rims without needing two Magnums. I found this out by accident. The tires from typical Maisto diecasts with lo pros fit them very nice. they need to be stretched a bit to go around them but these tires stretch a ways cause of how soft they are. as ya can see they fit without being ruined or mishapen. Now I can't tell ya exactly which diecasts have the right tires because of how I switch rims and this set was in my junk pile. I do know the Maisto 2002 ? Impala had them tho Also for those of you with the Jada Shelby .... they look good under it lol
  6. Got more progress on my 06 today. Mocked it up on the wheels I think I'll use Made a new grille to do away with the offensive lights I dunno if I'm feeling the 67 grille bar anymore.
  7. Restarted an old build from a few years back. This car has been through a ton of paint lol Gonna see if I can Conquer the paint this time. if ya dunno it's the Revell 2006 Mustang GT. as ya can see I've got the grille changed to resemble the Pony Package grille ( which I think is standard 6 cyl grille now ) I hate the Stock GT grille. The running lights are in the wrong spot .... or are too big ... dependimg on the look your after. Next subtle change is loosing the spoiler. I hate those on these cars too. Cars gonna have to be standard black too as I have been looking at a black 06 since late 05. My Mom has a black 06 lol. In this pic you can see a bit of the red seat. I'm gonna run the stock red/ black interior cause its the coolest looking setup
  8. dangit I did forget the accident lol
  9. Well Maggies done..... Finally. This car has fought me all the way from the beginning to the very end (posting her pics ). I got stalled on building her because the Turbine started having fit issues then when I picked her back up it just kept up not only did I have issues with her buildf but with finishing details and taking her pics My printer went outta align trying to print her tags, fixed that. Set up to take her pics the tripod snapped, couldn't find the new one I had.. Fixed the tripod to work ... found the new one in her box ..... Started uploading her pics to photobucket and broke the bucket .......Dang I'm glad she's done
  10. Man thats slick for being as old as ya believe it is I hope ya don't plan on touching it. Leave it original grab a new one if ya want to build one up I got mine about 2 years ago These cars aren't as scary as some folks say they are to build
  11. Thats ok Keven I might be hated but at least I have my Knight Rider cars lol I need to finish the 4000 too as soon as I'm done with KITT I'll try to get on KIFT I don't have any spares sorry Ya can see in the background of some of the pics the remains of the other Knight car hehehe (Note the car with its hood peeled back and later with its roof tore up )
  12. Decided to pull KITT back out. He only needs minor work to finish up so Shouldn't take long at all. I had the AMT KITT, but he never looked right to me. When theRevell 91 Firebird came out I figured it would work for what I needed So I went after it Believe it or not the AMT nose fit the Revell kit with only minor tweeking Heres where the build stands now In paint with the tops cut in
  13. Thanks for the Compliments guys I'm just happy to have got this one done I read the replies to the post a few times before I realized the First reply was from Tim is who built the box art truck !! Where else can I go and get my build recognized by the one who built the truck on the box that made me buy mine?? this place is great !!!
  14. hehehe Hmmm I do have a 6.1 Modern Hemi might make for an interesting updated rig
  15. I finally finished this thing yesterday built it box stock using a few pics gathered from friends here on the net. I modeled my rig after a pic I received My tractor Tractor from the pic I think this rig looks kinda stupid bobtailing what about you?? So it has to have its trailer Even found a few Mopars from its era to go along with its reveal
  16. lol shes got a loving slave its just the car don't have a job and the slaves job don't give him enough to fix her yet lol one day she'll be back
  17. Jones thanks lol its the "Mighty " Cobra the model is sitting on. Conor ya asked for it lol EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Oh yea thats just a car. Or whats left of one. She blew her motor 2 years ago and has been sitting since. Time is not being gentle is it. Back in her better days she wasn't such a disaster
  18. pulled out a stalled project today and am back on it. This will be hopefully soon a replica of my 82 Mustang. Hopefully it'll be in better shape when done. I started with a Monogram Cafe Racer Stang, I know I coulda got the MPC 82 and had a perfect match but the Monogram was available and easy to capture. It also made ease of a conversion I did in the real one that will be in the model When I got the Racer ( black one ) in a trade It was a nicely built and complete kit. That didn't last long lol Remember that I said using a Monogram kit aided in replicating something I did to the real car ?? Thats the still in progress 93 interiorfrom the Monograms younger sibling the Revell/Monogram 93 Cobra. Its set up like my real one 93 rear panels door panels and seats with a factory 82 dash and console. Still needs some work cause the two tubs hate each other lol heres where I stand now. Roof filling still needs touch up got the grille converted as it sits it looks very near the real one already lol
  19. Jeff Ya move wasn't wrong It is a very good idea but When everybody keeps saying that the users need to fix the issues Instead of the Admin fixing it, it makes it hard to enjoy. I got used to the navigating it and all its that dang issue with the large pics hiding behind ads the size of a truck. I can't read half the posts because of that. If I can't read the posts and no one at the wheel seems to care I can't enjoy the place. If and when The figure out why we keep having huge pictures that hide behind the ad and fix it I'll go back to posting there. Until then I have here and other places to post in
  20. I don't have to worry bout my Mom takin off in my Mustang ......... She just drives her own lol I mean why would she drive my lowly old 01 ( actually was her first ) when she has her 06 lol
  21. I've basically quit going thereI can't read half the posts without having to scroll Only suggestion I got was download Firefox One member say he even had to have it to see photobucet and SA. Well I don't need no Firefox to use my Bucket so I know it aint my comp its the Forum. I went there today out of boredom the layout and all got to me and I decided I'd rather be bored. I'll Just stay here and the few other places I go
  22. M408 put it kinda harsh but yea be glad she's still here. Last year My mom decided her tv was needing an upgrade. She wanted one of those new huge flat TVs lol And the big nice surround sound stuff hehehe . She loves that tv lol says if I see her house on fire I better grab 2 things the TV and her Mustang keys lol. I'm the one stuck on the old I don't want one of those flat tvs and all that digital stuff lol
  23. Bodine I May add a grille back in that looks like yours I like it As for the v8 exhaust ..... Mine don't have a V8 or a V6 lol heck it aint even a V anything lol
  24. Bodine Thanks Looks like theres not a wholle lot of difference besides the lower grille and I guess with my last update I eliminated that lol. Is your grille aftermarket ??
  25. Got a bit more done on the car tonight. The front grilles are open now. No sense in putting a Turbine under the hood if it don't look any different So I opened the grilles to expose the Intake A look that worked in the 300s and should work fine here to especially since she has a different intake on there. Also Got the front of the car modified to accept the Turbine. Had to remove some of the chassis so it would fit and the blank area that was behind the grille.
