Started with the 2n1 but goin the obvious direction with it Not much to show yet other than its in paint already. Also did a few mods to the inner body where the hood mounts and the attachment points for the interior pan so it'll fit together better

Buried Belvedere
Rick Schmidt replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I honestly don't see how she can be restored. Cars have been scrapped or deemed no good for a lot less. And its not like ya gotta just clean up rust in the typical spots either. This car has rust Where no car should have rust. Heck its probably still got Water in places it shouldn't if ya think about it. -

What ya mean ??? she looks perfect Naw seriously lol Think she's in Maryland The guy who was with the pristine one said she was so rusted there probably was no hope for her said the rear end had collapsed under the cars weight http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k182/mid...ss%20Belvedere/ -
Over the last couple of weeks I keep gettin the idea that I should paint a car olive drab and do it up as a military car ( must be Sill gettin to me ) The cars I keep thinkin I should do this to are the 51 Chevy Fleetline or the 55 or 57 Chevy 150s I got. I'm pretty sure the 51 aint right since its not the low end but the 55 and 57 are, but they are 2 door I know tri five staff cars existed cause I found a 57 but can't tell what it is Would a 2 door be wrong ?? Any one got any good pics of these things ???

Lol Mike Its lowered about 2 scale inches to get it to stock height I coulda stuck 20s under it before lol Chris its a glue kit has a 2.8 in it...... thats what makes it an 89 not a 90 like its box says

Here's one I been fighting with for a while Not the greatest kit But I assume I been spoiled by current Revell. I had quite a few issues with this car mainly in the glass fit but I was bound to not let it defeat me so here it is. Built box stock except for lowering Painted Krylon Burgundy
-
Hey How'd he get it back ??!! wasn't it stolen and sent off to wherever ?? Oh wait that was just a movie hehe
-
Are the New Vans Still K based ??? I know our 05 sure son't resemble my old 92 I had in the hood or underside ??
-
guess that solves thit can't be an 84 lol so its either an 85 or 86
-
I think it was 84 but then Mine could be an 84 I dunno it fit the 86 lol

Thanks guys Dave I never actually seen the Wraith so I dunno It just seemed natural to use the black to hide where I had cracked the body Terry I never seen one done either so I rescued this one from a stash of a member of another group It looked lonely in a sea of monster v8s lol Dennis I think this one is a Z or at least thats what the instructions mention The whole "Street Machine " thing is Smoked headlights and a weird tail light lense that I modded into two and blacked out Otherwise it appears to be a stock Turbo 4 Daytona Zuk Is it teasin ya lol ya coulda got it and threw a v8 in lol they say a company offered the stuff for a rear drive and AMT stuffed a front drive V8 in theirs lol
-
Just a quick build Finished it up last night. Its a Snap kit Monogram Dodge Daytona, think its an 86. Built it box stock only deviation from the box art was a black lower body to hide where I cracked it a bit removing a tab I assume went to another version

1968 Mustang Coupe
Rick Schmidt replied to Ryan Quantz's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Hope I'm not out of line with this link to another forum If so I understand why it vanished. But Making your own Doesn't seem to be a big problem. http://z6.invisionfree.com/The_Modelers_Ha...?showtopic=8598 Instead of a 67 Start with the revell 68 Body Dimensions are virtually the same between the AMT and Revell only area I noted was a bit different was the rear window , but that'd be gone anyway Just a Thought If you sdon't want resin
