  1. Man I thought our funeral cars had class. That one is very nice. Your final ride might as well be in a Rolls. Are those Common in your part of the world or is it just a survivor car from days gone by ??
  2. Haven't been doin WIP lately but figured this wreck needs one so here goes Got a Fire Fighter Mustang from a friend the other day. I promptly got stupid and decided to make a street car lol. A fellow modeler online here found out about my crazy idea and instead of talking me out of it he sent me a Midnight Mustang built up to use as a fender donor ..... Decided to use the Midnight Mustang body as I found it was correct and put all the Fire Fighter parts in it. Poor Fire Fighter Had an idea today to repair the leading edges of the doors wreck the underhood structure and simulate that it is the wrecked parts car. Dunno tho Got the fender flares I need loose just gotta dunk em in the bath Think the idea might be heading towards an in progress car similar to this one. I dunno its just what this little wreck of a project seems to be saying to me. As many Mustangs as are floating around here this is my first II so I really have no other ideas for it Also got a set of the 4 spoke wheels from the 88 Daytona kit I may use on it (4 lug). Got a Small Block from the Revell 32 Sedan that with a bit of work should work nicely in the car. Note so far I had to modify the oil pan and may need to move the tranny crossmember back a bit. But hey it's all part of the fun of getting a stupid idea lol
  3. Had the pleasure of dealing with Ed via a post he made about a couple of pickups he wanted to do away with. One of them had exactly what I needed for a project of my 1/1. I made my offer and the deal was struck. He even went as far after my offer to make sure I was aware it was not a complete truck. He could have just sent it and let me discover it was a parts truck, but did not. Hopefully He and I can deal again in the future
  4. David I bet you get the weird looks and "Why?" every day when you mention you drive the professional car ?? I used to think it would be weird in one then at my last job we were working in a funeral home and the owner and I were talking and the discussion went about his business and such I ended up getting a tour of the facility ( No guests otherwise out of respect I would not have ) Ended in the vehicle they use regularly. After that I realize they were just another vehicle that does a job
  5. Heres my Daily. 01 Mustang V6 Spoiler delete (By my own doing lol ) Other than the spoiler and a new cd player cause the Factory one died it is in factory condition. Plan to keep it that way too Don't hot rod around in it learned that a few years back. Never driven in Ice or snow, thats what our truck is for. My mother bought it new in 01 passed it on to me in 07 after she realized she wasn't gonna drive it enough due to having her 06
  6. Someone send me the Beetle I'll not only paint it pink I'll put all the Piggy stuff on it and leave it that way lol
  7. Got me a 91 F250 kit a few weeks back and prompty discovered it had 150 wheels ... dagnabbit. Well I figured out a way to solve the issue. A friend suggested a set of swamper tires and Weld rims from Ebay. Which I agreed could work and had him order me a set Got these Great looking wheel and tire but too big for what I wanted So I made this using the rims and a diecast models tires and a Dodge cop car center cap I narrowed the rim cut the center loose and moved it forward to be more in porportion with the tire. Then Switched the center caps so as too appear the lug nuts are flush with the face and not behind it. This pic was before I cut the wheels but it gives ya the idea What ya think ?? I think I made out fine for a 6 dollar set of wheels and tires some elbow grease and a few parts from the box. I figure they are custom they can look any way I like lol
  8. Gregg thanks for getting it fixed. Was a minor annoyance but would cause issues. I plan to be posting a Mustang II here soon would look funny Mustang Ii lol
  9. Easy fix Don't use contractions. And don't build AMT or MPC models problem solved ....lol Seriously tho he is right I checked to see if it was a BROWSER thing and since I doubt he and I are on the same browser I think it's not. If ya wanna see this in action Harry or Gregg Just simply do a test like I did. Type a topic title capitaling everything that shouldn't be and not capitaling everything that should. Leave letters after ' small and preview the post. It will change the title even there. No need to clutter the actual board with test posts.
  10. Casey they hum just rolling on my desk Jeff I dunno bout what scale they are supposed to be but they measure out to around a 15 in our scale. The bolt pattern on them looked dang near close to right for the ford I set them under just to see
  11. Found these tires and wheels in my junk box. Judging by the gears on the axles they came from a motorized toy. My question is are there 1/1 tires like this that would be on a 4x4 ?? and if so what would be the purpose?? Could they be used on the street??
  12. I agree about at least a list of words, other than the obvious 4 letter words not to use for the same reason posted above so as not to get hit without realizing you did something. The other day I typed Rap with a C in front Yea may seem very obvious but it's a word that is there and some Myself included might not realize was not allowed. Obviously the filter caught it and I was like OH OK can't use it. but it would suck to get the one warning for unknowingly doing a bad word. Then a few days later I happen to find the next and I am banned. I also agree with the Name in the post. It either needs to be Enforced or Dropped. I mean you asked us to do it most of us did. The other guys refused and nothing happens to them. Why should the rest of us do it then Nothing is going to happen to us if we don't. Now as you can obviously see I have no problem puttin my name in my post I even asked Gregg to change my user name. So now if you miss the signature ya got another way to see it. I'm just saying What's the point for those who did it only to follow a rule ??
  13. I did it now!! I did the unthinkable I posted a pic of a Model!!! OMG!! Hehe
  14. Dangit .........what I owe ?? lol
  15. It is coming along nice. Your apparently taking more time to detail than I did and its paying off. Not sure about the chassis as both my 1/1s are old as the model your building lol, But the exhaust looks right on. The pipes laying in the back seat of my 82 look just like that
  16. Another source could be some diecasts Some of the Jada diecasts I've seen have some very large diameter rims that could do what you'd like. Some are fairly wide but if your going to be doing the lift and such I assume you may have the needed skill to possibly narrow them
  17. Dangit !! a model related post !! lol JK That does look like it was a heck of a job to do Looks great. Be waitin to see the rest of the car
  18. ff like that gets posted everytime some one starts trouble I think we're gonna need more trouble

  20. Oh yea I forgot. I'd be more interested in Dharma than models too hehe
  21. I don't get this mess. Yea after the change some of us had issues making things work right Which is natural. Your car breaks you hate it you get it working right again all is good. A forum is the same way. I too was mad at first. ( Wanna see where I had a vent elsewhere ?) But It started working right I once again became happy. George is the same. I don't get the whole point of stirring up trouble just cause you can
