  1. A friend is interested in replicating this truck, and I think it's a pretty cool concept. I'm curious about wheelbase and such Would I be correct to assume this would be based on the longbed chassis but instead of the long bed its just a long cab ?? Would ya think the chassis is stock length ? After seeing his plan for it it's got me thinking maybe later I need a couple more of these kits too.
  2. I was wondering if they mighta fixed the 1/2 ton wheels in it. Oh well I have the first issue myself so won't be going after this one. far as I see the kit is identical to the 350 except the bed sides and wheels. So comparing it to your 350 to check for changes could be done.
  3. I dunno whatcha talkin bout hehehe
  4. Take a peek in the Revell 32s Not exact but pretty close. Dunno what size he needs to
  5. I'm watchin ya on this one I like the exhausts they are a near match for the badmans. And yea it's gonna sit High .... that's how it's supposed to look lol I been goin around with a Bad Man myself
  6. No big It happens woulda been easier had my mother waited a year or 2 to buy the car lol. I think GTs had that hood too Some with the Scoop some without
  7. Yep they in it. Now ya got me wonderin where my set went ..... didn't use em on mine but then its not a 91 Formula anymore lol
  8. Eric Like I say I dunno the car very well so couldn't say for sure Believe the Spoiler in the kit is 99 2000 think 01 was when they changed the spoiler Doesn't matter I took the Spoiler off my 01 Haven't really looked at the motor in my 99 kit Already modded the kit Chassis to accept a 3.8. Gonna have to Correct you guys on one thing The 99 Cobra kit doesn't have the same hood as a 2000, 2001 v6. I believe it was 03 they went to the hood like the 99 Cobra kit gonna take the same work to do the hood as it will grafting the 94 GT lowers to the cobra nose and making a V6 grille.
  9. Sniff Sniff I smell a 4 eye Fox .... I used to have one of those emblems got rid of it tho When I decided to use the pace car hood on mine
  10. I agree the fenders slope up a bit too much. Would I get it Heck yea!! Like Mr. Downie said Most Models have flaws We decide if we can deal with it or fix it. Without the model in my hand I can't say for sure but think it could be fixed. If not I'd just live with that its a Coupe we don't get many of those
  11. Seen a few myself. One that I liked the best was a Mean as all get out blacked out one. Didn't have a Cameraphone then tho. Most recent was this 03 in for an oil change. Guy was claiming near 500 HP All I could see was aftermarket exhaust so figure he seen we liked the car and was just posin a bit. But I dunno what if anything internal was done so can't say for sure. The kit has had me puzzled a bit too Like ya say GT Style wheels Realized that when I was considering a set for my 01. Another thing that got me was I thought it odd it didn't have a Spoiler, but upon study of the box I find it has a small little thing back there. Didn't think it was for another few years till the got the ducktail lookin one ?? I do belive this kit came around about the same time as the real car so it's possible we're looking at an early design on the box. Doesn't really matter to me tho I didn't get it to build a Cobra lol as yall said It's the only game in the New Edge style and I want a model of my 01 V6 lol
  12. Looks great. I'm curious about how you did the Cheese Graters.. That's one part I could'nt come up with a suitible solution for
  13. I don't get the point of this. Why even post stuff like this ??
  14. Very nice little rod. Everything works well on it. I'm also glad to see I'm not the only one who has seen the potenial of this "Simple" little kit. Was told when I found mine it was by far inferior to the newer Revell one that is in the series of 32s we have now. I disagree and this build backs my decision 100 %
  15. Just got me one of these 5 windows. While I'm not going as low as you have I'll be watching this to see how she turns out and possibly hijack any ideas hehehe The chop looks pretty good so far One of these days I'll get brave enough to try it
  16. No worries Stuff happens
  17. Shane AMT makes the Shortbed. I think it's the only one available now. I last seen em in the Walmart Checkerbox. So should be easy to find
  18. Thanks guys, Aint got much done on my little rod except rework the lower grille shell to put it closer to the engine. Got it back to the point if it wasn't channeled the full height of the frame the hood would go back on. But who needs a hood ?? lol Not sure if I'll leave it like that tho
  19. Workin on a 32 Sedan for a Primer Rod build on another Site. the idea behind my build is pretty simple. Take the Revell Sedan ( I'm starting to really like this series ) Channel it over the frame only modding what is needed to channel it. So basically the only mods are the interior the tail of the chassis and the radiator. The rest will get built up pretty much box stock I think except snatching the steels from the 5 window. My Inspiration the build so far I just got the 5 window so as of now the steels aren't painted or even pictured yet but they'll match the engine like the real ones do with the caps and rings.
  20. anyone who decides to drive ( or not drive) their vehicle from the outside or really from the driver seat is what I'd consider a fool. Not only do they put themselves at risk but innocent people around Without going to the links ( dialup ) I'm still sure the Red pickup yall refer to is the fool they show on tv a lot. Falls off truck hits a hydrant I think. What would he have done if after he fell of the truck had not hit the hydrant ?? It surely would have wenton to hit a car a house ... some little kid playin in that neighborhood. All Stupid I think just for some "fun"
  21. lol I wondered myself why there was a ferret in the gallery but decided somethings are best left alone lol Didn't go near the pic I'm alergic to the ones my wife has so decided to stay way from the pic lol just in case
  22. Dave from What I understand Murdered Out means all black The body the wheels all of the trim, Everything black. That being said While this one does have a sinister look I like I don't think it fully Qualifies as Murdered out as I still see Chrome trim on it
  23. There are similar wheels in the AMT 89 Taurus and a set in the 72 Chevy truck I think. One thing I did on building mine was shorten the rear bumper a hair. Dunno how correct it is but it looks a bit better out of the box the bumper just looked too long
  24. Is this the one that was the Basic builder most recent ?? Here's my only done 32 I know it's an overdone look but I liked the look and so it's built that way Took a Basic Builder 32 cut the fenders from the frame and channeled the kit body and the full kit interior over the frame. To do the seat I cut the lower cushion loose and moved it up the top half of the interior is all box stock only other change inside was a 40 Steering wheel. Cut all the molded parts from the kit engine. and built up a "New" SBC using the Monogram block and heads Revell 56 front cover, accesories and intake the rest of the car is what was in the "Basic "box Got a sedan too but it's never made it past the channel and Mockup. Once I get goin on it again I'll follow the same recipe as the roadster except I'll only use whats in the box
  25. I drive Big Red here when I aint in my Stang, usually in ice and such or to haul ###### around. 92 150 Long wide bought from the original owners kids. 85 thousand miles, hefty chromed car deflector on the rear and heavier springs than a standard 150. Old man did some pullin with it we think, something big even. Monster sits higher than most 150s in the rear too. biggest thing it's seen since we got it was a 20 foot trailer loaded with cut limbs and such. It don't work as hard anymore doesn't even get driven much We've had it 2 1/2 years only put 3000 miles on it lol
