  1. I think the City council is gonna have to do something about that eyesore at the end of the block. It's an awesome touch it's one thing to see a nice Neighbor hood but not common to see a tore up house done like that. What scale is this ?? And sid you make it or can the rest of us get houses like this
  2. Chuck This actually works well I think It looks like it could have been done. Only difference I'd do is a lid on the cab But thats just me and would probably be there in removable form if real. Great job !!
  3. This whole thread sounds like My kids and their constant bickering. Why can't everyone just grow up and act like Civilized folks. I'm sure ya'll realize you are fighting with a Kid. I dunno most folks ages here, but assume most of us are adults. Why not act like adults and not like 6 and 8 year olds constantly bickering over who said what to who
  4. that's probably why no one remembers the grey
  5. Always liked this van and I like your build of it. Ya know I don't remember the grey either?? I wonder was there a different Scheme later in the series that we remember??
  6. This is round 2 for me and this kit and it was one of my must haves for a long time. I built the 1st one when this was a new car and kit, but since I was 13 or so I bombed it as you might imagine lol. was finally able to procure me a new one around Christmas. Box arrived Christmas eve in the middle of our blizzard hehe found the box on a table on the porch buried in snow lol. Built it box stock matching the original as close as possible
  7. Hehe dunno bout the cap but soon as I opened the post I recognized the Viva lol I know it's bad see too many of em lol
  8. This conversion looks good to me. It appears ya took your time to get this one right and I must commend that. I myself would not have know of the minor descrepency had it not been mentioned. My thought there is that is just Knowledge you have for the next one. Great job and I can't wait to see another.
  9. I like this rod Has a nice used look that is not too over done and "Rat" As for the white walls I personally don't think they are wrong. That may be the modern tire guy in me tho. Tires I'm familiar with having a white wall only has it on one side so blackwalls out would have the WW in like on here.
  10. You ScumBum!! lol yea yea yea I watch it on tv to much lol I liked the first of those movies didn't care for the rest Be waiting to see your build tho Aint gotta like the movie to watch a good build
  11. I was kinda thinking along the lines it already has one myself. Never figured the real point of pulling the tube out of the fender and leaving an open filter in the engine bay with all that nice hot air. I do see the point of the Smoother tubes and all allowing more airflow tho
  12. Here's an Idea I am toying with. Got this 66 Thunderbird that's been stock since I built it. Got to thinking it needs a slight change in style and altitude. So I dug out What leftovers I had from it, Skirts roof with Irons custom hood and the custom rear bumper. I'm thinking the rear is plenty low but the front still needs to drop a hair. I aint sure about the irons on the roof sides yet and am Kinda liking the custom hood. And even tho it aint in the pics the custom rear bumper seems to even out the tail with the front Any ideas thoughts or the like ??
  13. Now that red makes it look much better than the bare metal Whole Rod is looking good now
  14. Hey, It's all good I made my points you made your counterpoints. We are at an understanding Life goes on as it should Mike if your doing a well worn one you could use the "Cobra " parts to your advantage. Take a look in any mag you'll see a lot of the stuff from the Cobra body as aftermarket parts. I know a dude with a 92 GT that is pretending to be a cobra at this point lol Dunno if he's ever going to paint the new parts to match tho lol
  15. Finished my sedan finally, after realizing I forgot the oil filter lol It's pretty much box stock aside from the channel and the steelies and caps from the 5 window Hmmm I think I'm starting to see a pattern here
  16. Not really sure how the 83-88 T birds fit into this build yet the SN-95s and New Edges do not ?? the only similiarities the 83-88 Bird had was the fact it was "Based" on the Fox theres not a bit of Fox Style in that body design..... Well maybe the mirrors or door handles. the SN-95 Stangs are the Same way "Based from " I have never driven an 80s bird but I do drive a New Edge and I tell ya that car acts drives and rides just like my 82 True Fox. Even has the same quirky power window where ya bang the door when it gets stuck. So I kinda think myself if ya intend to allow 83-88 Birds ya should allow all Mustangs from 79-04. or banish both cars for not having fox style. Just my 2 cents
  17. Hard to tell based on just a pic Having yet to be under a 2011 GT I dunno what they look like ( know the bottoms of cars better than the top lol ). And the give away dual exhaust and all don't work in this case as the 6 has that too. the stiffening isn't no decider either as I'm sure a 305 HP v6 might need some stiffening too. It does seem to me that we are looking at 2 cars so it could be in fact one is the mighty 5.0 and the other is the new 6. Both are very big news in the new stangs
  18. Gregg, You Harry an Pat are doing a Fine job. What needs to be done tho is We members just need to act like the grown folks ( or almost grown ) we are. If we were to act grown and ignore any trouble that did arise from some or better yet not start it all together. It would make it more enjoyable for everyone Including the Admin and mods Who would now have more time to enjoy the forum too. Can't we do that folks ?? Let's all of us act like grown folks should here.
  19. Here's my most recent completion. Started with the GT-H kit Mostly Box stock aside from the wheels from a GT500 kit. Tires from a Chrysler 300 kit, Standard hood and scratch built tubular control arms
  20. No Later Fox based Stangs 94-04 ?? They had Fox in em ? or just a true Fox body ??
  21. Aint nothing wrong with changing direction of Radials. As a matter of a Fact I swapped the front tires side to side on my Stang Was getting a bit of feathering on the outter edge swapped em around to even it back out. Never blew a tire. Even run used tires on the F150 ( 31x10.50s aint cheap lol ) never worried about puttin them on the same position they were on the previous vehicle ( I even took 1 set off the vehicle so it's not like I just happened to get it right ) no blow outs or even a weird noise. Sounds like he just had an old tire or Hit something he did not see ( it happens). the marks he talked about on the sidewall after just sounds like run flat damage. Doesn't take long to destroy a tire after it looses pressure. Have people tell me everyday car just started pulling I stopped and all I have left is the bead. Hit a board on the Interstate in my 82 Stang one time at 70 caused the driver front to fail as a board will do to a tire. Car took me for a ride across the median and into the oncoming lanes ( no traffic luckily ) Less than 1/4 mile I had no tire just the bead also had no inner fender lol. Like was said Just chalk it up to experience buy another tire and repair any damage caused by the other tires failure and go on with life. Tires fail unexpected ( and expected but nothing done about) Everyday if not Tire shops would have no reason to exist
  22. Good to hear ya ok Wrecks are weird Animals Was Doin 20mph and did this to my Daytona by hitting a Tempo mashed everything over shoved the Alternator into the radiator after the structure busted it from the Engine Yet I hit a Guardrail in my Mustang Doing way more than 20 ( bein stoopid ) and only did Cosmetic Damage to the car Did not even hurt the intake tube behind the fender These pics were obviously taken after Ford Skinned the nose to check the structure It is weird what can happen in a wreck things move in ways that make ya go Huh ??
  23. Lol yea the old beat one probably lost its caps 20 years ago just by the looks of it lol Either way I solved the wheel problem with my kit
  24. Never seen a 250 with 6 lugs only 8 theres even an old heap of one riding around in this bodystyle thats 8 lug the 5 lug wheels in the kit Are for a 150. Not sure about what the correct wheel style for a 250 is but have seen these on a 150 a lot
  25. Thanks for the input guys. he already knows he needs 2 for his and I was figuring the same if I decided to try a take on it we were mainly discussing the wheelbase and chassis setup
