    VW 1300

It looks very nice and clean. What scale is it?
  2. I like your idea. Hope you keep it posted.
  3. So you have taken a un-impressive kit and made it very impressive. Now I want one.
  4. WOW! I like everything about this. Nice job on the weathering. I like your idea about the beer can plates. lol
  5. Looks like the one on the box. Very nice! Sometimes I like to copy the box art and this is a good one to do it with. I'm working on the one with the green body and black fenders now. Yours is great!
  6. I just picked up this kit and will be watching. I like the way you got it low. If it was any lower you would have to start cutting part of the body away. lol I always think of shagg carpeting when I see these vans and remember the Chevy van song.
  7. Thanks guys, I'm just learning to do weathering.
  8. I built one of these up as a kid, one of my favorite models can't wait. Thanks for the photos Casey.
  9. Thanks, I guess this should be under trucks. Does anyone know how to move a post?
  10. Nice looking truck and also I like the diorama. My favorite colors on this truck too!
  11. Nice pictures, hope you keep this going as I plan to build one. Mine will be more of a hot rod/ rat rod version. Painted an extra cab I had today and got the inspiration.
  12. I did one side. I'm still trying to post pictures with no luck. I might be here all day. Thanks for looking in.
  13. ]I thought I had one of my best paint jobs then, I decided to spray a white headliner instead of brushing it in since everything was going so perfect. O.K. you know the rest. The masking leaked down one side. Ouch! A spot on the side roof and the door was all. Masked it off and pow!....Did not match. Too much silver in metalic. O.K. I'll paint the whole side . Nooooooooo! Much worse now the emblems are disappearing. End result, not my best but, a beast.I will try to post pictures here next. That does not always work for me.
  14. Nice Dave, I'm going to keep your file in my file. lol Thanks!
  15. WOW!!! It came out nice. This one made it to the right guy. I would be real proud of this one.
  16. I've always used Testors enamels in the 1/4 oz. bottles in my airbrush. I had a bad day with their 1144 gold and after stripping model went with Dupli-Color automotive paint. Now I'm loveing Dupli-Color. It really polishes nice and does'nt take forever to dry. I can probably paint 3 to 4 models per can so, that justifies the cost in my mind. It's on sale this week at Auto Works.
