  1. Great review. Thank you for that.
  2. It definately looks like a W9000. There's something about the grill, though. Like the angles on the side pieces are off or something. In the photos on your desk, they look more vertical. Not sure. Anyway, it's a heck of a lot better that I could do! Looking forward to future updates.
  3. I just emailed him at plaskit plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca Everything seems to be working fine.
  4. Try KFS for the 1693. That's where I got mine.
  5. Looks great. I'm hoping to do this with a 352 as well.
  6. That's looking really nice! I think you're past all the tricky parts, if i remember correctly. Great job, I like the colors & the rear fenders.
  7. Michael's & JoAnn Fabrics are large, chain craft stores here in the US (and Canada, too, I think). I'm sure you have something similar in the UK. The braided elastic is in the sewing section, but like I said, it's too "old" for this truck. I found a tutorial on making newer style hoses. I'll see if I can find it again.
  8. Shoelaces would be incorrect as they are generally too thick, and make you truck look like it's haulung, well, shoelaces. To replocate cotton jacketed hose, I've had good luck using braided elastic (used to make waitbands & cuffs tight. Check Jo-Anns or Michael's). For the newer synthetic hoses, I've seen yellow tape used quite effictively.
  9. That's one nice looking Dog, or shoud I say Duck.
  10. Nice looking ALF. All you need are hoses for the hose bed, and your set!
  11. Nice job on those K100s.
  12. That engine looks fantastic!
  13. My sister is Vice President at Mattel in charge of Barbie. I'll see what she cane come up with.
  14. You're welcome. We do what we can.
  15. You want 1/24 zombies (what's with zombies, anyway)? Try here: http://www.darkworldcreations.com/ Now, back to the "real world". As for drivers, I kinow the 3 Inches Under does a couple of drivers: http://stores.ebay.com/3-inches-under/1-25-scale-figures-/_i.html?_fsub=2694627013&_sid=1392843&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 One is a firefighter in full turn-out gear, and the other is modeled after Roy DeSoto from "Emergency!"
  16. That's pretty neat. What's it used for. Something to do with oil exploration?
  17. Will these work: http://ppvintagekits.com/
