  1. Great looking tank. It'll look very nice on the dio base.
  2. Sono molto bello. Mi piacciono molto.
  3. Another fantastic job!
  4. Looks really good! I remember following those around when i was stationed at Ft. Polk. We always used to say that if you didn't have a cracked headlight or a cracked windshield due to a log truck, you hadn't been stationed there long!
  5. Check with Dave over at AITM. His are quite nice, and Ben Wicker (who is a member here) makes nice wheels, too.
  6. That's really nice! Great detail & paint work. Are you going to do the race car?
  7. Welcome back to truck modeling. As for aftermarket vendors, there is Kit Form Services in England ( http://www.kitformservices.com/ ), there's Auslowe in Victoria, Australia ( http://www.auslowe.com.au/ ), there is Melbourne Model Truck Accessories out of Victoria, Australia ( http://www.freewebs.com/mmtaer/ ), there's P&P Vintige Kits & Resin Works in North Carolina ( http://ppvintagekits.com/ ), there's American Industrial Truck Models in New Jersey ( http://www.aitruckmodels.com/ ), & Plaskit Resin in Quebec, Canada ( plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca ). That about covers "parts" vendors. For decals, there's Model Truckin in Mississippi ( http://modeltruckin.com/store/ ) & there's Doug's Scale Truck Replicas in Victoria, BC, Canada ( http://www.dougsscaletruckreplicas.com/index.html ). There are probably more, but that's all I can think of right now.
  8. Oddly enough, Model Express (dispite announcing that they are closing up shop) are offering this kit as a "case of 3" for $199. That works out to $66.67 per kit. But you have to pre-order the case of three kits.
  9. Great Model Webstore is now Sprue Brothers Models ( http://www.spruebrothers.com/ ). You can also try Scale Hobbyist ( http://www.scalehobbyist.com/index.php ) out of New Hampshire.
  10. Those are fantastic! Great work.
  11. That looks fantastic. You did a great job.
  12. Looks really nice. I like the details you put into this.
  13. Nice job. You seem to have a thing for Western Stars.
  14. Looks good & well used.
  15. There will be no chrome on a tactical vehicle, and very little in the way of distinctive markings. The "FORD" & the logo would also be green. Everything would be the same color (body, frame, engine, driveshaft, interior) As for the bumper numbers, the numbers on the passenger side front is the unit (on my M927 is XVIII ABN/43ADA), while the number on the drivers side front is the vehicle number (C-11 in my case, which stands for Battery C, Vehicle 11). These numbers are switched on the rear of the vehicle. I think you have a good concept, and are off to a good start.
  16. Very nice looking Western Star. The colors are great. I like the black stacks.
  17. Thanks, Roger. I'll have to look into the 1967 Fastback (never really cared for that body style, though).
  18. Ok, so I don't usually build cars, I'm more into heavy trucks; but I've always liked the 1965 Ford Mustang. I purchased the AMT 1966 Ford Mustang a while back with the intention of building it someday. Well, someday might be coming sooner rather than later. So, not being a "car guy", I have some questions: what is the best way to detail out the engine? Is the Model Car Garage P/E set worth the investment? What details are missing from the kit that can be added? My intent is to build is "factory stock". I'm not going to slam it, or rod it, or anything like that. I've already check the "Car Kit Reviews" section for information on the kit itself. Thanks in advance for the help.
