  1. That's a really nice combination!
  2. I received an email from Round2 last week, and the Exterior Post Van is scheduled to be reissued in November of this year.
  3. I've only built the GMC General in 1/25, and it's a tough kit. I think they did a Chevrolet Bison in 1/32 as well.
  4. There should be a Freightliner conventional & COE out there, as well as a Ford CL9000. I see them from time to time for sale at some of the shows I go to here in Central New York. Not many though.
  5. The Cummins Beige I got from Dupli-Color was way too dark; almost brown. I've had good luck with Tamiya Deck Tan XF-55. It might be a little light, but I like it. Also, Scale Finishes offers Cummins Beige.
  6. So you know the Revell USA Peterbilt 352-110 is now out. Picked one up at my LHS for $15.
  7. Outside pics look really nice!
  8. Oh, the hood in the kit is plenty long enough. If you look closely at the 1:1, you'll see that it has the standard hood.
  9. I saw that Ertl made the S-Series in two different versions: F2575 & F2674. The both have the V800 engine, so what's the difference?
  10. Thanks, Anthony. Something a little different, if you know what I mean.
  11. Right here: http://round2models.com/
  12. Maybe Moebius will come out with a 53ft van for their LoneStar. We can only hope.
  13. Thanks, Bob. The plan is for something like this: The "inspirational" truck is a 1974 W924L with a Detroit Diesel 12V71. I'm going to stick with the Caterpiller 3408, though. As for the kit, it's not bad. I like it so far. The fit of some of the engine components is poor, the air bags on the suspension & the air tanks have hollow backs, and the cab/hood/sleeper is molded in the dreaded red plastic. The fit of the frame was good, and the chrome on my kit was good. All in all, it's been a nice build. This is my first Revell of Germany kit, so it's been a learning process from the usual AMT kits. I think the other in my stash will be a nice doner for a W900B.
  14. I haven't heard anything about the White Western Star, but they are reissuing the Diamond Reo.
  15. Thanks, guys. Mark, I believe they are fuel filters.
  16. So, I've managed to get a little bench time (not exactly sure how), and I've made some progress on my 1974 Kenworth W900. It's basically a "box stock" build with some tweeks. I stripped the chrome off the tanks, and painted them to match the frame. The only things I've added so far are the filter decals on the frame mounted fuel filters, and the "Alcoa Wheels" logos to the wheels. Thanks for looking!
  17. I stand corrected. I knew it was one of them.
  18. I don't think we'll ever see the Kenworth W925 again, Rumor has it that AMT changed the molds to make the T600. I think the double 27ft vans were recently reissued by Round2, but I could be wrong. I'd like to see: White Freightliner SD International Transtar II Peterbilt 352 Great Dane Van/Reefer Funny thing is, I'm not really a big COE fan, but I realize their historic significance to the trucking industry.
