  1. Good luck with your rebuilder. Never a big fan of those. Anyway, as to removing the paint, you can try Castrol Super Clean. It works well.
  2. Your interior looks really nice in the black & red. I like it.
  3. Looks pretty good so far. One thing I noticed is that your seat bases are reversed. The clip for the seatbelts should be toward the inside of the cab; not the outside. The placement diagram/numbering is incorrect in the instruction booklet. Also, if you're going to use the "LoneStar" decals on the seats & rear sleeper wall you might consider removing the raised detail as the texts aren't the same size.
  4. How big is the Bentley?
  5. Will thins work: http://www.monroeperdu.com/pgcart.pga?product=MPD2401?
  6. Wow! I thought it was real for a second. Fantastic job.
  7. Great job! Nice match to the Volvo.
  8. It's supposed to be a 3208, but apparently it's actually an 1160 (or something like that). Ford called this engine a V200, and they were painted Ford Blue. If I remember correctly, this engine was a joint Ford/Caterpiller venture.
  9. Nice collection. I really like the Branch Ford H-Series.
  10. Nice progress on the engine. This might help with wiring it: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/model_magazine_articles/car_modeller/cm08_july_1991_cate/ , but it looks like you've done a good job without it.
  11. Looks like you're off to a good start. Yes, the wheels & tires are probably the worst part of the kit.
  12. The black & white definately looks the periot (early 20th Century). To me, the sepia photo reminds me of The Old West or the Civil War. A little to early for cars.
  13. Sweet looking combination. If you decide that you need a "change of pace" on the shelves, you could always put a water tank trailer behind it. Hey, after you build the pool, you need to fill it up, right?
  14. That's my "driving on water" pic!
  15. Do you mean the Revell of Germany Kenworth W900 or the Revell USA Snap Kenworth W900? Either way, the AMT trailers fit these kits. On the Revell USA kit, you just need to make the hole in the fifth wheel a tad larger. Here's a pic of my Revell USA Snap Kenworth W900 with the AMT Fruehauf tank trailer:
  16. Nice looking hood. I think Scale Finishes has UPS Brown.
  17. I've heard that the AMT "Rubber Duck" Mack is very innacurate. This site might help: http://www.stlouisdumptrucks.com/ConvoyMackTruck/index.html
  18. Gary Wallace from GW Trucks offers a W900S, a W900B, and (2) different T800 cabs. You can send him an email at gwtrucks@yahoo.com. His W900 cabs are about mid-1990s. There are currently no cabs offered (that I know of) for the other T-Series trucks.
  19. Awesome combination! Got any perticular driver in mind?
