  1. I'm pretty sure Dave Carey (cargostar) offers the LoneStar daycab conversion. He's a member here, so check with him. As for the Kenworth, it sounds like it could either be a W900S or a T800. If it has a set back front axle, it's probably a T800. For that conversion, I'd check with Gary Wallace over at GW Trucks (gwtrucks@yahoo.com). He has the T800, T800W, T800H, & W900S conversions. They're about a mid-1990s cabb.
  2. Great job. You did a really nice job on this combination.
  3. Tamiya Metalic Blue is a good match for the blue that International/Navistar uses on their MaxxForce engines.
  4. Nice decals. So you know, Jim Botatis is a member here. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showuser=7662
  5. Thanks, guys. I think I'm going to use some pinstripe decals from Micro-Scale for the tiny blue stripes. We'll see how ot works out. Since I'm goinf to be using Tamiya paint on this one, and not Dupli-Color automotive paint, I'm thinking bleed through won't be an issue either. Well, at least I'm hoping!
  6. Interesting idea. Is this the Lindberg 1/20 kit?
  7. Communication is sometimes a big problem with "some" of them.
  8. Good luck with that!
  9. Where are you getting spray paint for 96 cents?
  10. Very nice. I like what you've done with the Transtar. And that's a really long nosed Transtar! Did they even come that big from the factory?
  11. That's a mighty fine wrecker. Sort of inspires me to finish my W900 tractor. Maybe I should think about picking up this kit.
  12. That's one good looking Cornbinder!!! Very clean.
  13. That's really sweet! I like it a lot. Might have to get one in the near future for a W900.
  14. No, just the exhaust stack itself, not the muffler. I checked one of the K123 kits I have in my stash, and those are tough seams to get rid of on the muffler. Only thing I can suggest is to mut masking tape on both sides of the seam to minimize damage when you are filling & sanding.
  15. Are you talking about the seam on the stack itself, or on the muffler guard? For the stack itself, don't worry about the seam, and just slip some 3/16" aluminum tubing over the stack.
  16. Very interesting. I, too, like the "then & now" with the original General and a new General. Very cool. Your cars (like most 1/25 cars) are only missing one thing: drivers! Nice job all around. Darn gophers!
  17. Tha's kind of what I was thinking, too. Either that or The Terminator.
  18. That's a really nice combination!
  19. I received an email from Round2 last week, and the Exterior Post Van is scheduled to be reissued in November of this year.
  20. I've only built the GMC General in 1/25, and it's a tough kit. I think they did a Chevrolet Bison in 1/32 as well.
  21. There should be a Freightliner conventional & COE out there, as well as a Ford CL9000. I see them from time to time for sale at some of the shows I go to here in Central New York. Not many though.
