  1. Built this 1973 Ford LN8000 a couple of years ago:
  2. Sounds like it's time for a Photobucket account.
  3. I usually put decals on before I clear coat (if I clear coat). And to ass small stuff to the cab I usually use Gator's Grip Hobby Glue or two part epoxy.
  4. Both look really nice. I hve one of these kits, and I want to shorten the hood to 108" BBC. Did you have any issues? Did you run into any major problems?
  5. Nice job. Your'e looks better that the original.
  6. Mine arrived today from Model Express, and I am quite pleased with what I see in the box. I've been compairing it to some of my AMT & Revell kits, and, well, there really is no compairison. I am looking forward to building this kit this summer.
  7. They are essentially Caterpiller C13 & C15 engines with new emissions: International MaxxForce
  8. I don't think you will. The MaxxForce15 isn't scheduled for release until later this year. You should be able to find a MaxxForce13, though.
  9. Excellent! And you still have all of your fingers?
  10. Great looking interior. I like the black & orange.
  11. Looks really nice. I like the orange. Can't say as I've ever seen a blue Maxidyne engine. It's different; I like it. Goes well with the orange.
  12. Looking nice so far. I like your frame weathering. That's an onder model on a newer box. Daniel @ Plaskit offeres the Mack spokes & square tanks. I used his spoked on my Stevens International Mack R685St reissue that didn't come with the spokes or square tanks either.
  13. They mustn't have delivered down in Miami, FL.
  14. Thanks, guys. I'm hoping to finish it up soon.
  15. So, it turned out to be a pretty good Easter Weekend modeling wise. I managed to get some paint (inside & out) on the cab, mount the hood, mount the fifth wheel w/release handle, and finish the interior. Next step will be to decal & mount the cab, mount the exhaust stack, run the air intake system; then call her done! I can see the finish line on this one.
  16. Don't think I've ever seen a LoneStar heavy hauler.
  17. The detail the Moebius molded into this kit is just amazing. I really hope I can do it justice.
  18. I like it. It looks like an inprogress restoration. Very well done.
  19. You know, this just shows (once again) how versatile these snap kits really are. I do have one question, though. What's that sticking out of the deck plate?
  20. Very nice, clean build. I like the paint job.
  21. Nicw job. Are you going to put a flatbed behind this?
