  1. Quick question on the Ford LN8000 interior. (Yes, this is still the same project I started months go.) When I add the shifter to the interior tub, it is in the center of the passenger seat. Maybe it's just me, but that seems a little far away from the driver, and quite uncomfortable for the passenger. Is this in the correct spot? Most of the pics I've been able to find are of the manual transmission, not the automatic. Thanks,
  2. Lee, I like your shooting bench. Do you shoot benchrest competively or is it for sighting in your deer rifles? I shoot smallbore pone myself.
  3. You know, I just thought of something. My father-in-law works for Carrier here in Syracuse, NY. Maybe I can get some information on this system. I'll see what he can get.
  4. Well, that's bizare! Immagine that pulling up behind you on the freeway! Looks like something Ghost Rider would drive if he were a trucker instead of a biker.
  5. Greg, Is this 359 going to be the "little brother" of your truck?
  6. Scott, The General looks great! Good job. I have a couple of Generals in my stash, and I hope they come out half as good. Love your work.
  7. Tim, That's a definate possibility. I just went to http://tahlborn.web.aplus.net/tim.htm and tried the link again. Sure enough, it went to www.plasticcowboy.com. It's the link down toward the bottomo of the page inbetween the "Movin' On" link and the orange truck. Used to work.
  8. I was going from the link on http://tahlborn.web.aplus.net/tim.htm. I don't know why it didn't work.
  9. I hear ya! Nothing like working from home. Al least that's what I do.
  10. Is it my imagination, or has it been awfully quiet around here for the last few days?
  11. That works! Must have had an old like or something. Thanks,
  12. Tim, I tried to go to www.truckmodeler.com yesterday, and all I saw was an alert saying that it was the future home of plasticcowboy.com. Do I have the correct Website?
  13. Dan, That would be cool. Probably beyond my abilities, but I'd give it a try. What the heck! Would make the truck easier to place in a diorama.
  14. Anthony, Sorry. I didn't mean to add fuel to the fire. Please acept my apology.
  15. Anthony, Don't hold back. Tell 'em how you real feel.
  16. Tim, Excellent build, as usual. Are the sleeper extenders part of the kit or are they scratched? Also, if you were to scratch build them, what size sheet plastic would you use?
  17. Scott, Thanks. Wish me luck. The Astro frame is about 1/8" narrower than the General frame. Not sure how this will work out. If I get to work (and look nice) I'll post some WIP photos.
  18. The Astro is a dual drive Hendrickson. I'm building one right now.
  19. I noticed that the GMC Astro was listed in the Dual Drive section of the original post. I want to swap the spring suspension on the Astro with the air-bag setup on the General. Was the air-bag suspension offered on the Astro? I've seen pictures of the spring suspension on the General, but not the other way around. Seems like the Astro frame is narrower than the General frame, too.
  20. Bummer about the hood pin. Easy fix?
  21. Tony, Nice looking trucks. I especially like the Volvo.
  22. What "model" is the KW Needlenose? Is it a W900, or is it too early? Peterbilt had a needlenose, too, if I remember correctly.
  23. Oh, you're hysterical! Go to sleep!
