Ordering from Hobbylinc.com
martinfan5 replied to plasticprime's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Peter, he is asking about this online hobby shop, not HLJ https://www.hobbylinc.com/ -
Some kits showed up today, the BMW was in transit for about two weeks, the other kits came from HLJ, they left Japan Monday, transit time less than 48 hours.

Completed these two masterpieces about month, now finally getting around to showing them off, The Nissan is a Bluebird SSS Atessa kit from Hasegawa, it took a little over 2 years to get it completed, it involved having to acquire a 2nd kit to complete it. Paint is Nissan Redline from SF. MGB is painted MGB Green( British Racing Green I think)from SF, I took the advice from Bob I think it was to lower the ride height, I did try, it sort of worked, not the easiest of kits to accomplish that task on.

Built my first 1/12th kit, Aoshima KZ1000 Police bike kit, built as close as the kit allows to represent the one from the hit TV show CHiPs , the only thing I did was add the mic wire and connect it to speaker box, rest is OOB. Used metalizer powder on the brakes( I know, can't really see them). I undersized the license plate , its more 1/14th , its not without its issues of course. It was fun to build something different than my normal 1/24th/25th auto kits.

I am never paying attention.

Yeah, this was not a very well kept secret, I think a lot of people figured it was dead after the buyout as you are right, I think pretty much everyone forgot about it till now.
-
Anyone paying attention on this forum would of known, it was "leaked" awhile back that this was in the works, I don't think it was 100% confirmed and I want say a "fake" boxart image made the rounds.

Jebus, about time, it was "teased" what, 3/4 years ago, maybe a bit longer? -
Ebay is a good place to find them too

If you liked the 1000, you should get a can of their 1200 or 1500. Mr Surfacers work like, 500 is thick and coarse, its for doing light filling , 1000 would more like a general use primer, 1200&1500 are for when you are ready for the color coat, and they go on very smooth, 1500 is about as smooth as glass out of the can.

Nice to see some confirmation on the Courier when its gonna be out.
