  1. I will be adding one of the crude Mercedes kits to my stash, to go with the just as crude Volvos I added last year. I will also be doing a Whats In The Box video video recorded in 4k to really help capture the crudeness? That is interesting that the Volvo appeared in the '22 release , thats gotta be a typo for sure.
  2. FWIW, one of the wholesalers/distributors has TBA listed for it.
  3. I don't mind multi colored parts tress, well they make doing the Unboxing videos a pain by having to change the back drops , but thats a me issue, I agree, they are good for the "weekend" builders . I hope they are not on the met grey, the chassis is a light color , per the rule book( I believe that is carrying over to the new car) the main rollcage is painted , its possible the one you seen was still during testing and hadnt been painted, they get delivered to the teams painted the light grey color.
  4. Agreed, the more I looked at it, the more I thought it was a render , its a decent render and I will be happy if the kit ends up looking like it, the only main issue I see is the front wheels being way too tucked into the well. So Jim posted a reply to the announcement video I did and said he expects to be doing the Ford/Toyota's later this year, no contracts yet. He also said the kit will be molded in 3 different colors, white, black, met gray, ( body being in white) lets hope that goes for the chassis/roll cage too.
  5. Salvions just posted this on Facebook( well, link to pre order it) I believe this is the first of the new tooling.( It might be a 3D render) https://salvinosjrmodels.com/store/r-hmc2022abp-hendrick-motorsports-2022-chevrolet-camaro-alex-bowman-primary/ https://salvinosjrmodels.com/store/r-hmc2022cep-hendrick-motorsports-2022-next-gen-chevrolet-camaro-chase-elliott-9/ https://salvinosjrmodels.com/store/r-hmc2022klp-hendrick-motorsports-2022-chevrolet-camaro-kyle-larsen-5-primary-hendrickcars-com-livery/ https://salvinosjrmodels.com/store/r-hmc2022wbp-hendrick-motorsports-2022-chevrolet-camaro-william-byron-primary/

  10. The interior tub is going to be "race stripped"
  11. I will probably be picking this one up.
  12. A LHD version would be nice
  13. If you never want to have to worry about if the primer is going to be compatible with the plastic, then use the best, Tamiya or Mr Surfacer Primer.
  14. Which is why they are not moving forward with new Gen6 kits at the moment, exactly.
  15. No, they were working with Revell to try and get the tooling from them to use for the kits but were not able to, there was a lot of confusion but it sounded like they were going to do both, now they are focusing on the new car.
  16. Soon!, the kit boxes are being packed as we speak GjNdP6qEq4wgnYUV.mp4
  17. Overall, decent kit, it has it flaws, the windows need a bit of a work to make fit, and the type of material they used didnt liked being sanded. The way the wheels mount to the brakes isnt the best, its just a very small nub that goes into a very shallow indent on the wheel, ive know one wheel off after attaching. Some fit issues, first, there is a bit of the gap between the top of the front bumper/bottom of front fascia, not sure whats causing that. I had to remove the very from P/E piece on the frame that holds the winch, it was causing fit issues with the from bumper. Other than, it was a pretty straight forward build. The hood as you can see doesnt fit the best, possible it shrunk a little bit. Oh yeah, painting the trim molding around the wheel openings was fun, that took many many many tries , using both Tamiya's bendy tape and normal tape. I did my best to create the LED look of the headlights( didnt bother trying on the taillights), I traced over the stripes with silver sharpie and then a white paint pen, swing and a miss, the paint needed to be A/B on and the white maybe a little bit opaque to get the effect ? Happy I am with how it turned out,but its not gonna win any awards though.
  18. It was said they will only do the Gen 6 cars if they can get the tooling from Revell Where are those CAD drawings posted?, in the Salvino's Group page ?
  19. If I am going to be using a bottle thats been sitting for a good amount of time, I turn it up side down for about a day , and then shake, works pretty much every time.
