  2. Few more pics, interior painted, I know , thinking wow, that was fast, well, I am working on another project, and I am doing that inteiror in the same color, and I was ready to paint that interior, so since got it out of the way The paint I used was gloss, hit with some dull clear , but I think I need to hit it one more time And painted the chassis of the T/A, used a satin black, yes, I still need to remove the copyright date And the interior piece in flat black for the time being
  3. Bodys in primer Sanded smooth the roof, I also removed the fender trim
  4. Aoshima w/engine kit, C1 Model's Blitz 14pc wide kit , this transkit is made for Tamiya's 86 kits, but with a little bit of sanding on a few piece's , it will fit Aoshima's body
  5. You got that right my friend
  6. That is really cool, I know that is going to be a big plus for many people, smart move on Revell's part
  7. Going to try and do a duel build here, after watching a few videos , one of them consisting of the Bandits T/A vs The General Lee so that brings us to this thread, Using Revells Diecast to plastic Bandit kit, and the last issue of Revells 69 Charger kit, Marty provided me with with a set of wheels and decals for his favorite car. I am going to be building the most accurate General Lee model ever So far, this is all the pics I have for you, up first is trying to sand smooth the roof on the Charger
  8. Or five pages on why the prices of kits have gone up, and I am not sure a reason has been figured out yet
  9. Using Ad Block Plus and not having any issues
  10. Aoshima is going to be releasing a few different versions with decals, here is a look at one of the decal sheets , give it time, I am sure someone is going to be doing decals for this kit
  11. Posted thread, then I realized I should of posted it here in the Off Topic Section, least I was able to admit I posted it in the wrong section, I am only human, I will make mistakes.
  12. I changed out the cabin filters just shortly after I took over my Maxima, and I am telling you that it made a huge difference with the A/C and it was blowing so much better, not to mention the air coming into the car was much better, that was close to four years ago, I think they are time for another change, and for my car, I think they were like $20 for them. And it took maybe 15 minutes to change them out . But like Rob said, living where we do, there is so much dust in the air, it really does make a big difference.
  13. Have we figured out why the cost of kits has gone up yet?
  14. Ford has 80 plants world wide, I am not going list all them, so check the link http://corporate.ford.com/our-company/operations-worldwide/global-operations-list And General Motors has just as many world wide http://gmauthority.com/blog/gm/gm-manufacturing/ And I think this needs reposting again showing just how much we live in a global automotive world, that old foreign vs domestic stuff is long gone, and is no longer relevant in 2014 http://www.toomanycars.info/CarRelationship/Car_Rel-Image2.html
  15. Because of the Chicken Tax, all Transit Connects where imported to Baltimore MD from Spain as Rob mentioned as passenger version, and then converted to cargo configuration by Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics , The process exploits the loophole in the customs definition of a light truck: as cargo does not need seats with seat belts or rear windows, presence of those items automatically qualifies the vehicle as a passenger vehicle and exempts the vehicle from light truck status. The new Ford Transit van, which is replacing the E-Series van is a full sized vehicle
  16. Thats right folks, set your DVR's or VCR's, there is another DOH marathon this Sunday on CMT Yeehaa!!! Edit, I am sure this thread should of maybe been posted in the the Off Topic section, if need be, please move
  17. Yeah, sort of curious as well, for the time being anyways
