Whats cash? There is a time and place for cash, for everything else, Visa Check Card , its everywhere I want to be. For a serious reply, I rarely carry cash, for the simple reason is I most of the times, I wont need it, and we I do need it, I will make sure I have some. Some people like to carry cash, some people dont, both are neither wrong nor right , but I am going to stick with not carrying cash , I like to live in the present day. And cheques, , I opened my Credit Union account in 2009 I think, I am on still on the first book of cheques from the first free box I was given, I think maybe I have used half of them , the last time I wrote a cheque was to pay the club dues.

Import Duty?
martinfan5 replied to Stuntman Mike's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I am not going to try and pretend that I am knowledgeable in customs, but my guess is you can get away with marking it as a gift because you are a private party sending to another private party. -

Import Duty?
martinfan5 replied to Stuntman Mike's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I want add to all the correct info that has already been posted , toys and games, which model kits fall under, have no duties for private parties. -
That is simply a typo, nothing more, it really does not have anything to do with "lost in translation", all the Aoshima kits that I have built, and we know I build a lot of them, I havent seen brack used.

I am so very disappointed, I am going to be missing this years running of the race, I decided that was a good day to be moving. And the 24 Hour of Nurburging is 19-22 of June , so back to back 24 hour races in one week Anyways for those are that are lucky and wont be moving in 115 degree temps, Fox Sports will be airing all 24 hours of the race across its FOX family of networks and online streaming, FS1 will have I think most of the race.

Google Self-Driving Car..
martinfan5 replied to DrGlueblob's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Dont forgets Porsche's 918 Spyder Hybird that has a 4.6 liter V8 developing 608 horsepower, plus the two electric motors delivering an additional 279 horsepower And Ferrari's The Ferrari has a 6.3 litre V12 producing 789 bhp and (516 lb.ft) of torque and supplemented by a 163 161 bhp hybrid KERS unit , but that is a different system as it adds to the to combustion engine bringing the total power output to 950 bhp, if this what Hybird technology can do, I am all for it. As for an on topic reply, I thinks its going to be a good amount of time tell we see self driving cars mainstream -

A 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 727 bhp @7500 rpm , its pretty amazing in my opinion. -

martinfan5 replied to Gregg's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I was lucky and did not have any issues with peeling up any chrome on the bumpers, of course, always have to test first, overall, its still a really nice kit, and Meng did a great job overall with it , so much looking forward to building the second one I have and buying more
