  2. This is it right here China only does what Revell tells them, but I know, its so much easier to blame to someone else.
  3. What I could find is that the cracking is cause from the paint not being 100% gassed out.
  4. I never thought of that, good tip , I am going do this .
  5. Ahh, the joys of building plastic models, and being able to do what may not work in real life
  6. Bōsōzoku are known to modify their motorcycles in peculiar and often showy ways. A typical customized bōsōzoku bike usually consists of an average Japanese road bike that appears to combine elements of an American chopper style bike and a British cafe racer, for example: over-sized fairing like those found on cafe racers, raised handle bars like those on a chopper. Loud paint jobs on the fenders or the gas tanks with motifs such as flames or kamikaze style rising sun designs are also quite common. The bikes will often be adorned with stickers and/or flags depicting the gang's symbol or logo. There are also marked regional differences in motorcycle modifications. For example,Ibaraki bōsōzoku are known to modify their motorcycles in an extensively colorful, flashy way. They will often have three or four over-sized fairings in a tower like way in a motorcycle painted in bright yellow or pink with Christmas light like adornments.Bōsōzoku customizations have been adopted by car tuners as well. They add wide bodykits and huge wings, resembling the Group 5 “Special Production Cars of the 1970s
  7. I have pretty much given up on using Future as the times that I did use it, about two weeks later, it cracked
  8. I buy one roll of each size and with shipping comes to $10, thats a darn good deal for Tamiya. I do use Frog tape, but only to cover , not for lines , its not design for most hobby paints, its only meant for water based paints I believe
  9. Gabriel, here is a US seller that has for $4 more then where I bought mine from, but the shipping is a lot cheaper http://www.diecastalley.com/meng-models-1-24-ford-f350-super-duty-crew-cab-pick-up-truck-kit/
  10. Just got a boring ole saloon car(note, image is of the kit from the ebay seller that I bought it from) And this was sent to me to try out, again, to lazy to take pics myself
  11. Very cool idea, I think you should go with that
  12. You are probably right about that
  13. I only have a few projects from the last few years that have no been finished, and probably wont get finished.
  14. What to charge for parts, good question, the one only time I had to get a replacement part from Moebius , I had to pay $3 for the part, and I think I had to pay postage as well, but I dont not recall.
  15. Dont think I was, maybe Revell should do what several other model company's do and charge, or be able to take payment for parts, Moebius does that, all the Japanese companys do, and that will cut done on the abuse of the replacement parts service, do I agree with having to pay for replacement parts?, of course not, but its better and cheaper then having to buy a new kit. But screwing over customers that legitimately need replacement parts is not great customer service either. And of course, "free replacement parts" should only be limited to current in production kits.
  16. You will have to extend the wheelbase if you want to make it into a ambulance
  17. I am hearing a lot of people having very bad luck with Revell's CS as of late, pretty sad. Revell seems to be cracking down on people using the parts replacement as a free parts department, and by doing so are screwing over customers that really need replacement parts.
  18. Tower Hobbies has it listed as order pending, so looks soon, and the price is not to bad http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXEKME&P=W
