  1. Look at that, I did know something
  2. I sent many emails, never got one reply, I gave up wanting to do business with him. I have heard he is a good person to do business with though
  3. Started work on this one , for some reason I am on a Skyline kick now, anyways, this will be a boring box stock build , here is what I have done so far . Got the body out of the box, thats a good start and I guess I forgot to take a in primer shot, so we are skipping ahead and here is a after some paint pic, I used Tamiya TS-17 and started working on the chassis
  4. Don, I got a Dell Inspiron , the laptop I am replacing I have been using since 2005, it came with Windows 8, I am starting to like Windows 8.Here is the the laptop I got, and where I bought it from http://www.costco.com/Dell-Inspiron-15-Laptop-Intel%C2%AE-Core%E2%84%A2-i5-3210M-2.5GHz.product.100026422.html
  5. Sam, I believe there is a resin hood to fit the Italeri 378 kit, but I could be wrong though , I believe the main difference from the 378-379 is the hood, but again I could be wrong lol
  6. Here is Ernie Irvans Dale Sr. Chevy, decals are from Wet Works
  7. Teams still use paint as well, Dale Jrs Daytona car was painted, the teams trailers are wrapped now too instead of painted. I dont remember when teams started using the wraps, but I know its been awhile now
  8. Greg brought a good kit , the Revell Mustang kit, every wip, every build review of the kit made me want to get one, that would be a good one to try out
  9. Any large scale Tamiya kits would be good, so I have heard
  10. With all the kits out there, I think I can keep myself busy tell its released
  11. Simple Harry, if I am not mistaken, automobiles then did not have a very high top speed correct, so that is a factor, and I think the other is people were a lot nicer, and considerate back in those days as well.
  12. So what would be correct for the model?
  13. The AZ Republic is like that as well
  14. Well least Revell is keeping constant with to tall tires on their Mustang kits
  15. Isnt the car going to be destroyed anyways once GM gets done with all the testing and gets the 2014 Vette into production? , so really, the driver was just getting a head start
  16. Here is another 2010 Camaro SS that I have finished up, there is a bit of history on the body, this is body number three, kit number two, for some reason, I have had nothing but issue paint the Camaro body, its something to do with the Revells plastic, anyways, after many failed attempts at getting the body paint, and having to get a replacement, body, I bought another Camaro kit, so this the new kits chassis with the previous kits body, the body was blue, and I just painted flat black over it, and then used Testor one coat graphite lacquer over the black base coat. and here is the other Camaro , this is the chassis that the body goes with , and this one has new kits body on it
  17. Here is RoG Ferrari SA Aperta kit, OOB, paint is Ferrari Electric Blue from Scale FInishes , clear coated with Mr Hobby Clear, just like all the other Revell/RoG Ferrari kits, this one suffered from to high ride height, so I lowered the ride height.
  18. It is a good kit
  19. Well, least with this one, the K-9 issue is just decals, but I agree, a little bit of research would show that a 2dr would not be used as a k-9 unit in most case's. Still excited about the kit, and going to get a few , as for the decal issue, not a big deal, I wasnt going to use them anyways, and I am sure a good majority of the guys that are going to build the PPV of the kit are going to use aftermarket decals too.
  20. Doing a great job Geoff, really makes me want to get my hands on one
  21. Anyone else notice they changed the box art police markings as well?, the pics on page one show CHP markings, the box art is generic markings, I wonder if the plan was to use CHP markings and that has since changed
