  1. I think that might make a few people here happy if you did I know I am not as, hmmm, wise as most people on here , but I too feel myself getting older, I think back to things, and it hits me how long ago I did something, or things along those lines, I still feel pretty young, well most days anyways

  8. Some more info would be good, Tamiya correct, so I am guessing 1/24th scale, that is good
  9. Raoul, you are right, I forgot that he does have single stage paint, I believe those are enamel based paint, I have not used those yet, glad you brought that up

  11. What shade of green did you use?, it looks like British racing green
  12. This is becoming a pain, I replied to this thread soon after you posted it, and my reply is gone , you did a good job on this one, I like the wheel swap, I never built this one, only the AMT kit.
  13. Luis, its funny, after I posted that, later that night I seen the FaceBook posting about the restocking, now I just need to make myself ok with the price lol

  15. Well, it helps that I am a stay at home dad for the time being lol , with out my models, I would of gone crazy by now, my daughter knows how to push my buttons already lol
  16. Troy, yes, it is a bit late , I have already got the clear on, but I am still perfecting the polishing , so I burn through no matter what I do, I am getting better, if I skip the sanding part, and use a rubbing compound to smooth out the paint, for the most part, I dont burn through, but it never fails, when wet sanding, I will burn through somewhere . Gary, Scale Finishes paint is great, its very much worth the money, the paint comes pre thinned and ready to paint, the flow is good too, I have used Duplicolor , Testor lacquer clears, and I am using Mr Hobby clear for this one, the Scion FRS, the Merc SL65 AMG I used Mr Hobby clear. I shoot the paint between 25-30 PSI, I would have to double check what I have it set at The only troubles I have had, was mine own doing, I got little excited and put to much paint on at once , and it crazed the body, but , it was also an Aoshima body, and the plastic is very sensitive , I talked to Jameston about it, and we figured out it was my fault , but he was willing to help Body after the second semi wet coat
  17. here is the body with the red part done, but I have since done a second coat of red, I did not get good coverage, have some bleed through, but the areas that have it are going to be black, so I am not worried, the only part that I might need to fix is the lower part of the rear wheel well, have some bleed through
  18. This was after the first round of paint, I have already done one more coat , and clear is next
  19. Me too , I just hope I dont mess this one up
  20. Starting this one as well, I have not done a lot of none NASCAR builds, done a few of the Revell C5R /C6R kits, so doing this will be something new, I dont know why I have waited so long though , and keeping with my trend of doing cars from GT5 lol Here is the kit box and the body pre primer after primer and the silver part
  21. Yeah, I knew it was, but I dont get why they did it
