Not a stupid question Harry, you are correct that all the COT bodys are the same other then nose, the bodys are different between the different series, the Sprint cup series bodys are different from the Nationwide series As the say a picture is worth a thousand words, here is the Nationwide Impala , this is what I am trying to do using the AMT COT Sprint cup kit and here is what the cup Impala looks like

I have no idea why I am building Danica's ride, but I guess since the days of Mark the kid Martin driving the GD car, I have come to like the paint schemes that the cars are painted in. So starting with an AMT COT kit, just like with the Kurt Busch Camry build I did, its a lot of putty work in this pic, I cut a little off the bottom part of the bumper, this will help me get the nose shape a little better this time around and the putty begins And work on the chassis, starting with the interior, and adding the missing roll bars, using evergreen .080 rod

Thanks guys, this is not really bad a kit, just take the kit for what its worth, I say go for it and get it. Here is an update, starting with the body, since I am almost out of BMF, well not enough for this one, I decided I wanted to try something, so I masked the body, and spray the chrome trim, well I use aluminum, but it still looks decent, well to me anyways, yes I know it would look better with BMF, I just hate applying BMF and work on the roof rack continues and the wheels

I would think people would be well aware how the big Japanese kit manufactures do not put engines in their kits for the most part, atleast full engines.

That is true, for the past few years, Dodge has had three cars in the cup series, two Penske, and one from Robby Gordon, and he has all but pulled out of NASCAR, but Dodge did this to them selves, they never really funded, or helped fund the teams since really the Everham days going back to 2001. I think Fiat wants to use the money from the NASCAR program and put towards they other racing programs

I am wondering now if the Penske engine shop is still up for sale, with Dodge backing out now, there is no need for Dodge engines being built, and the whole reason of selling it was to keep the Dodge engine program going. Now I can see anyone buying it. This is going to be another interesting part of Dodge leaving, what happens to the Penske engine shop, Penske does not need it, as they will get their engines from RFR engine program
