I have no problems with spending the money on a Tamiya kit, I just try and find it at the cheapest price I can , but in all seriousness, I have no problems spending a good amount of money one a kit, ($30 or more) on a kit that is detailed, or a nice kit in general that has no major issues when being built.
I dont do this with kits anymore for the most part, but I will for everything model related at times, and I did it this past weekend, I bought cans of Model Master spray paint that I have no need for, well ok one of them I do, but I still have plenty of one of the colors I bought already .
I agree, looking good, keep it up, cant wait to see it finished, on a side note, the Evo X is pretty much done, just need to put the spoiler on it, and then get the number plates made up, and the decals on it
You did a really nice job mate, looks good, and when you get the dio finished, it make a really nice back drop for photos .
Havent done a whole this week, but here is what I got done on the Evo
The interior is done
And working on parts of the body now, taillight panel done
Bumper lights in
Put the mesh in the grill openings
And a mock up on wheels
Yep that is pounds, my understanding is quid is slang for pound, I could be wrong though.
$337 for it is not bad , I dont think you could find car as nice as that one for that price here .
Thanks for the heads up Virgil, I have two of them to build, I already started to prime one of them, I used duplicolor white primer and got lucky, no problems, but I have not painted it yet.
All it says on the website is he will reopen, but no date was given, I do wish him and is family all the best . I was going to order some paint as well.
