So with the unofficial official start of the summer now here , how is everyone going to spend their Memorial day weekend?, doing any traveling?, staying home and doing some BBQ?, spending time with the family? building models? I know some of my fellow club members are doing a 24hour build this weekend, I wont be there with them, but I know they will be having a good time. And lets not forget the reason why we have this three day weekend, to honor our Men and Women in uniform who fight for our country , so we can enjoy our freedom. So whatever it is you are doing this weekend, I hope you all have a safe weekend.

I received the Amt Ecto -1A kits today, yes, I bought two of them, the only thing that is different with this release over the first one, is the box art, and the decals, you now have the options to build either Ecto-1, or 1A, but only on the decal side, you will have to make the modification to the everything to make it like it is in the first movie. Thats why I pre ordered the Aoshima version, its $20 cheaper and more detail Edit- If you want to get the kits, now is a good time, both Hobby Link Japan and Hobby Search are doing 20% off on all the new release's when pre ordered

Well what I have been reading, Aoshima is getting up there on detail that Tamiya is, and the Aoshima version of the Aventador has more engine detail then Fujimi one, and opening doors as well. I am not sure if the Aoshima Toyota 86 has engine detail, its hard to tell from the mock up shots, but it does have a separate hood and trunk lid Edit- follow the link, and scroll down to the third picture and you will see what the Aoshima an exploded view of the kit parts http://forum.spc.org...php?f=9&t=19299
