  1. I like having the new Mustangs, Camaro, Challenger and Charger on my display case, sitting next to their original counter parts.
  2. Thats what I dont get, when Dodge did the Challenger, they made it look like the original one with a modern look to it, but why not the Charger?. The new modern style on the Mustangs and the Camaro is very close to the original styling
  3. For once, I agree with you to a point, a lot of the new cars today do share the same chassis's, and other components, but other then that, they are all different.
  4. Did the yellow part , no problems, nice clean lines, it was the blue, it bleed, and I didnt mask everything as good as I thought I did, so blue ended up getting on other parts of the body. Been having one of those few weeks, nothing is going right with models. I am trying to get the body strip, all the white, yellow and blue is gone, but still need to strip more of the primer, its a mess, I really messed this one up.
  5. Talking about the Dart, or all of them? but I agree with you too
  6. And play-stations too From a Car and Driver arctile on it, just a short part of it
  7. I dont remember if its re badge or new model, but yes its based on Alfa's platform I like the Camaro, I like the Challenger, I like the new redesign on the 2011 Charger, I have the agree, the new Dart is not the best looking.
  8. Looking good, I like the 500KR kit, I think the wide body will good. Well started painting the flag colors and he just went down hill from there, so stripping the body again, I think I am just going to the normal markings on it.
  9. I have a Xbox 360, and a PS3, and I grew always having a gaming system, but still built models as well, I love both, I dont play as much video games as much as use to do.
  10. Looks good
  11. This thread will answer your question http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=56221&st=0&p=660118&hl=+online%20+hobby&fromsearch=1&#entry660118
  12. The testor one coats, are just as they say , one coat, but you can do several light coats then do a wet coat. When I use the one coats, I do a medium coat, then will come back and do one more wet , or heavy coat. Same with the clear The clear coat should be fine using over the Revell decals, as for the other ones, its hard to tell, its one of those things that I could tell you it will be ok, and something will happen.
  13. Haha its ok Shane, we wont hold it against you
  14. LMAO fart can, that is great, you are right though, its all big box auto parts store aftermarket parts too, I love tuners, not the ones the like you said , males under the age 30, but the ones that can compete at track days , not the I am trying to be cool like the ones in F&F movies. The cars in the movies were very nice, and cost a lot as well, those were not pep boys parts cars lol
  15. Chuck, you bring up some great points, you are right, we do tend to, at times look at what we dont have more then what we do have. Other then the lack of side wall detail, which does not bother me all that much, the new kits are better then 10 years ago. I think Moebius is setting the standard on how model company's should interact with the customer base, I think its great that do that.
  16. I liked them too, but it was at least out here, they all looked the same, they all had the same APC stuff, most where all show no go, body kits barley hanging on.
  17. I always liked the CRX hatchs, cool little cars, and the NSX, it was the whole tuner fade after Fast and The Furious came out, and everywhere you looked there was a tune civic.
  18. I never liked the 1:1 Civics, but the kits is nice, I wish that when I built it, my talents were the like they are now, its really bad, and there was only so much I could do
  19. They also do that to the cars as well, I think they are a bunch of pics on here in the reference section, going to look
  20. Jon, yep its real, I dont know a lot about it , but doing that to cars over there is huge, I think there is a member on here that might know more about it
  21. Congrats on your awards Brad I want to say , as one of the Judges , it was very hard, and I mean very hard to pick the winners, there were so many great builds that all could of took first place, I would of rather had a root canal then have to pick the winners.
