Haha I wonder why that is Charlie I have to agree with Harry, for kits , its on line only for 98% of them, for all my supplies its LHS , or wally world or the auto parts store. Almost all my kits come from ebay, or all the on line hobby stores already mentioned, When it comes to all the after market stuff, its just depends on what I need.

Rob, Its close to ones that I could find pics of, but all the pics I found the paint was not metallic , and I seem to only have nothing but metallic blues on hand I would love to see a imported r34 , did you get any pics of it.

I agree 100%, I have been making my Cup COT cars out of the 2003-2005 bodys, I wont use the AMT COT as the decals I get are made for 1/24th scale. Here is a little more of what I got done, I am doing two of these at the same time, you can see the nose is kinda of taking shape a little, its not close but, its a starting point , I am going to make Nationwide Impala version headlights and grill templates to help with shaping the front .

Finished this one last week, its Tamiya Skyline R34 Vspec kit, OOB, I used MM GTS Blue lacquer with MM ultra clear coat

Welcome to the forum and the CBP, to answer some of your questions, the purple stuff is a cleaner we use to strip paint, its called purple cleaner, or purple power, or castrol super cleaner, it can be found at wally world. It will only strip paint that is enamel and acrylic based paints. I use putty for my mods, I just started using bondo automotive putty

Depending on the Ferrari you want to build, if it is one of the ones being made by a Japanese manufacture, you can most of the time find it for about the same price as the Revell version , within a few dollars. I like getting the Fujimi and Tamyia ones as I like the wheel and tires better.
