Not trying to be mean, but it still looks like a model, but its a nice photo. The tires and wheels give it away as being a model, one of the things you could do is spray the tires with a dull-cote, they are a bit to shiny in areas that on a real tire that would not have any shine . I am not saying anything bad about you build, just pointing out one of the things you could do to try and pass it as a 1:1 car.

I think its safe to say that building the original eleanor is going to be like dong a general lee, that there are more then one way to build it,

I was just doing some quick research and eleanor was a 71 that was made to look like a 73

I will be watching this one, I think its a cool idea to turn it in to a aussy version, I am have been wanting to do a car from down under Are there not any better 73 stang kits out there?, been thinking about doing the 73 eleanor myself as well to go along with the the 67, now I know to avoid this kit

I got it off of evil bay, got a four pack, I also got chevy 283, caddy 354, pontiac 421. There are not being made anymore I believe, I have no use for the other three, but it was cheaper to get the four pack then just getting the ford on the bay. Paid $9.99 free shipping, I believe the seller has some more. I posted all four of them in the what did you get today thread

I got the engine for eleanor today

I only need the 427 engine, but it was cheaper to get all four of them then it would of been to buy kit, even using a hobby looby coupon

I normally dont like stripes, but this is one of those rare times that I do, I agree it does make it pop. Here are a few more pics, its not a very clean build so far, but thats ok as this was a bad casting so I just kind had fun with it. I have decided that the front needed to be lowered a little bit, so I am working on that. I also cut out the grill on the donar kit body and put on this one, what to make a look a little bit different from eleanor

Which kit did you get?, there are alot of GTI kits, I do want to get one of the newer ones

I just got done putting the stripes on it, and they went on pretty good for being old AMT decals, yep those are GT500 wheels in pegasus tires . They are a tad bit to big, so I am lookig for something better fitting.

Got the body painted, now I am going to add the stripes, and then I will clear coat it. And here are the wheels I think am going to use

Thanks, the cuda is the other build that I did along side the 360 for my club, this month's theme is convertiable's . I have waiting to get started for this CBP, Lambo Murcilago, R34/R35 GTR's , the Merc SLR, and as soon as I order it the Lambo Aventador Here is a pic of the 360 finished up, I need to do some clean up, then I can take the finished photos

Back to working on this one, I have managed to get the front lowered a little bit more, but I am thinking of not using the viper wheels/tires , not sure. Tom the white wheels you saw in the pic are from revells C5 corvette kit that just was released. I dont know if I want to put a wing on it, I am trying to keep it to a sleeper look, which I know if I keep the viper wheels that goes out the window
