  1. Yes that can common on most cars, you have to remember the cars are painted on a assembly line and they are not wetsanded and then polished before they leave the manufacturer, only high dollars cars will come from the factory with flawless paint.
  2. The ones that came were the window scoops, I messaged the seller, and when they get back to me I might just ask a for refund and use the kit scoops
  3. Thanks for the anwser guys, I keep putting off getting a another tripod, I always forget the things I want to get when I get to the stores
  4. Same here Dirk, thats why I stay from doing two or more colors unless I am doing NASCAR , least with NASCAR there are enough decals I can cover it up . As soon as I get some metallic black I will be trying it out
  5. Robert, great job on the stangs, very nice I ordered some resin parts for the new eleanor build, and got them today, but instead of them sending my the side body scoops, the sent me hood scoops . I wish I knew the kit came with the side body scoops before I bought the resin ones
  6. I have the london bus fever, but sadly my hobby funds dont at the moment, but soon
  7. I always had a soft part for the SHO, love them, great job Rick
  8. Let me ask this, when shooting our models, whats the best distance to be from the model? meaning is it better to be up close?, or back and zoom in on it a little bit?. I lack photography skills
  9. You guys did good work on your builds, bravo, sorry I missed this one.
  10. Alex, what site did you find that info at? thats good info to know there I say get a R35 GTR, either the one from fujimi( there is a full engine detail one) or the tamiya one, or the very first GTR like mentioned above, I agree to on the LFA, all good kits.
  11. Charlie, thats a very good starting out list.
  12. Paul, thank you for the suggestion, I will do that, I have heard that before, and it seems that I forgot about it. Thats what I was worried about is bleed thru.
  13. Thats the best idea so far , I wonder what store I can pick me up a Heidi from
  14. You are right about that, most of the flaws in the first casting(this one) you cant really see.
  15. Nick, of course you can, cant wait to see you start the mini, I thinks a car I want do soon too
  16. What direction are you going with yours Dave? Here is the engine painted, I used krylon matte aluminum
  17. Maybe I should said the top 20, there are a lot useful tools being listed, I need to do some tool shopping, and to what junkman said, if I had soda in my mouth when I read that it would of been all over the screen, that was funny
  18. I am going to add the black stripes Lane, it wouldnt look right without it, Steve, yea I figured you would say that , what plans do you have for yours?, hmm you know what I am thinking?
  19. Getting some paint on the R34, I also painted the R35 as well But I didnt like how the paint was going on so I am stripping and going to try again.
  20. Just started working on Revells 2010 Camaro kit, I am not really a fan of camaros, but its nice to have newer car kits come out. I bought myself two of them, and my plans are to do one stock, and then have a little fun with the second one. Here is some pics of what I have done so far. Body is primered and I am getting it ready for some paint Getting the interior painted wheels de chromed and sprayed with rustolem chrome and some paint on the body
  21. So as title says, what are they?, I know there are lot of tools that I should have but dont, I picked myself up a pin vise a few months back, and all I can say is how did go this long with out one. So I will say pin vise is one of them, so what other tools should fill up are modeling tool box?, this could be helpful for the newer modelers.
  22. Dont forgot about the ones that drive them town cars
