I believe Harry said you need to have your full name listed only once, but its up to you, I believe as long as your name is either listed in your member profile area, or in your signature its ok -

Pat , I was just about to mention that member and his thread, I knew Gregg asked to take is thread else where, but I did not know he sent on his way , which would make sense as I have not seen him since. Which is fine because of A, I never could understand what he was saying, B, I still have no idea about what his thread was about . I think a few other members where banned as well, but other then that, its the same as it has been for awhile around here. Is name is posted, its just really small, but its there, or if go in to his profile I believe its there as well. He is not only that does not post anything about themselves. -

That was a very hard hit she took, I was really hoping to Kenny make it in, feel bad for him, at the same time, kind of happy but sad that Mickey didnt make in, the sad part is for now thats one more race we will have to listen to him talk during the race . -
Question for Gregg or Harry...
martinfan5 replied to Ramfins59's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Harry , thank you the explanation on picking the photos, so I am guessing it can get very time consuming if there are a lot of photos submitted . Gregg I am guessing you are the certain someone you are talking about -

You bring up a good point Donn, the younger generation not so much mine as we are in our 30s now, but the one after me, has very short attention spans, and even more so with the generation after that, so I can see if the younger modelers get frustrated and then giving up. But if we can help them learn , either by helping them on here, or thru your DVD, or both, then maybe we might help keep them in the hobby, which like you said , its a win win for everyone. -

That makes sense, I knew I was wrong Harry, how long does it take to go through all the photos and decide what gets included?, -

Fuijimi or Aoshima Wheels?
martinfan5 replied to Takymoto's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
One other things for you, depending on the wheels you get, and the model you put them, there may be some work required to get them to work, I think Roadkill can explain what works with what, has I can not remember at the moment -
I Can't Paint For Nothin'
martinfan5 replied to Old Sprinter's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yes the cheap rotten cheapster got me on that one, I learned a lot, I learned that if you want to use krylon, use a automotive primer and maybe even a primer sealer . I learned that I will only use automotive primers from now on , but from that I also learned that testing the paint you want to use on part of the kit that wont be seen or the sprue to make sure the paint is not to hot for the plastic No its not fair, but least you are helping out the newer generations of modelers , but you know what they same about fair right -

If its the thread I am thinking of, its not that it was offensive, all it was going to do was start a all out war in that thread, I think if it was worded a little differently it would been ok There have been a lot of threads being started lately in the workbench section with some one saying that they are going to do this or that to a build, no pics, and thats it. Or same as above with maybe a pic of a mock up and then maybe a few words. There has to be content being posted that makes everyone what to post replys to, and lately there really hasn't been alot of stuff really worthy of replies. I have notice a lot it is from newer members that have joined, not saying anything against them, they haven't got the hang of things here yet, or figured out what or when to post things . -
I know I have seen some newer ones on evilbay were the sellers were asking well north of $100, I would love to get my hands on one, but not at that price, and like you said, there is no way I would do what they did to the real one to kit a cost that much.
