not really fan, for a couple of reason's , one is i just dont understand it, I think if I did I would be more of a fan of F1, the other I will keep to myself

maltsr, i am looking forward to seeing both of those builds, I will get the list going when everyone gets in here from the first thread I had. Well I will get some pics posted of what I am working on. I got the Ferrari 360 kit for a CBP on a United kingdom model forum, so I will be using it for this one as well. I am going to do a few things to the body, I dont really like the look of the front bumper so I am going to "try" and make a front spolier , I am going to make a rear spoiler . And I am going to use aftermarket wheels/tires, I just need to find a style that I like and will look good

Here is the foreign car CBP , it is now open, with no end date as of now. The rules are simple, Any manufacturer that is not American, American makes are allowed as long the model is not sold in the USA. As long as the car is foreign it can be a part of this CBP So thats the rules as now that I can think, I am going to try and keep a list of who is building what. If there is a car you want to build but are not sure, please ask. I am trying to figure how to work this thread for our members on here that are not from the USA, thus making US cars foreign to them. For me, I am going to start the thread with a Tamiya Ferrari 360, and Tamiya Merc SLR Mclaren List Me- Skyline R34/ Merc Mclaren SLR/ BMW/ lambo Murcielago Maltsr- E-type Jag/DTM race car. Thanks , well I am stripping the body , I dont know this happened, but I went to finish it today and notice that there was I think a glue glob about the size of a pea on the top of the right fender. Now I have no idea how it got there , as I have not had glue out or near this build for the last few days, and it wasnt there yesterday, so i am a little confused

Well that explains why then , are you going to strip the body as well?. I have two stang kits on their way to me, would of been three but got out bidded at the last 30 second

I sent the seller this question Now lets be honest, do yo really think that its going to cost $2000 to ship that?, are you really trying to rip people off? I enjoy messing with the not so smart people in this world

Here is another thing to remember, now I am not sticking up for the bad sellers on ebay, but ebay charges so many fees to sellers, for example, I sold a phone a few months back, I did it as a buy it now, and bid, but to get the phone to sell faster I offered free shipping. I sold the phone for $130, after ebay's fees and paypal's fee's I got about $100 or so for the phone. On side not, I thought this was funny, I was looking for a kit on there tonight, and the seller had it listed at $19.99, but in one of the pics of the kit, was the Hobby lobby price tag for $14.95

Ebay is a great place to get kits for a lot cheaper then LHS or online stores if you just have patients and doing a little searching and dont go after the first kit you see. Yes some sellers have no idea what they are trying to sell, and dont realism that the price's they are selling for are way to high. Like I said early, alot of the sellers are not modelers, but people trying to make money, they are the ones that buy collections, and then are the sellers that are just hoping that some sucker will come along and pay them want they want.

I agree with you there, and they sell the parts for what you could buy the whole kit for, to me they are just trying to rip people off. Just be a little more what you are talking about I guess, I dont think there is a guide on the valve of mode kits, or maybe there is and i just dont know about it. Just explain a little more about what you are talking about

alot of the people selling model kits on ebay are not modeler's the are people that buy collections , and are selling the kits to make make what they spent and to make a profit. I find a kit on ebay that I want( which isnt hard at all), I will always search and see how many of the kit I want and see who is selling the cheapest. Yes some of the price's and shipping some sellers are charging is high, but just keep looking.

Olskool, you should of reminded me that you started this thread, there are a few stangs from this era that I want to do, one of them is Eleanor from the remake of gone in 60, just not sure how I am going to do the body. I know there is a transkit but I have not been able to find any. And then in the 2008 Knight rider KITT transformed into a 69 mach 1 . Edit- I order the 69 mustang kit, I can join this CBP now

I know what you are talking about, but dont let some the bad sellers keep away, you just look to find the good stuff. It amaze's me at the price's some sellers are trying to sell kits for. And whats even funnier is seeing a kit that one seller has priced $20 or over other sellers selling the same kit.

Well I would say you have a good reason to get the lesser powered version of cars. Its ok to go a little off topic in here, I wont mind , and for the most part even the off topic talk in here is still about mustangs so its ok.

I like the one piece trailer parts, will make for a much nicer finish build, and less work . And to answer why to my question, well I know I am planning on getting both, so why not offer a combo kit for people that want to buy both. I am sure they could find a middle price for it.

thats looking real good, nice and shiny, I like shiny, ( wish I could get the mirror finish on my builds). The shade you got looks almost like a British racing green

I would love the charger a lot more if it was a two door, for with the mustangs, I like mustangs but now all of them, I have been liking the new body style of the mustang since it came in 06.
