I think for the most the part people understand what goes into resin casting, The problem, and I reapeat the PROBLEM people are having and what is wrong is the way these resin caster are treating their customers. If you send a resin caster money for said part, resin caster should produce said part and ship it to customer in a timely manner, if not either contact the customer , or return customers phone calls or email's and not blow the customer off. Which is what seems to be going on. If you can not produce products for your customers in less then a years time, then maybe you need to get out of being a resin caster. These people have every right to upset that they have sent their money for products and not getting their products and getting blown off at the same time.

I have to give you credit you have a great attitude for having all that pain, it sounds like you can still enjoy life which is all that matters. Since we are the subject of back pain, my mom just had back surgery today , I hope she is able to ride her horse again she has not been able to now for awhile. Yes that is a streaming site, you should have no problems watching the episodes, just be careful, it might make you want to build K.I.T.T.

Rob, thank you for the very much for good info, I passed on the idea on the using revells engine after I started building the fujimi kit, I agree about the brakes, they are so much easier to paint then revells brakes. I got the kit with the P/E set so really the only painted I really had to do was the caliper. I did notice that about the seats that they are not that nice, but its something that wont bother me.

Funny you bring, I was thinking about that last night when watching the one the episodes, I think 20's would work, and look good with the right wheel. I hear you on the pain, well ok not close but I am feeling it tonight, help unload a Uhaul that had a lot of wood furniture , my knees and back feel like a slege hammer has been hitting them. Well you are in luck, if you want to watch the show here is a link to a site that has all the episodes, and its free to watch them http://www.casttv.co...ws/knight-rider this is where I have been watching them at Here is a pic of the rear under side

I agree, I like Scuderia, its just cool looking and I think its one of the better Ferrari's , more so in style .
-
Well its about time you cracked one of the stang kits open , that hood is really nice, going to give it a mean dont mess with me look . I still have a little bit more room to go on the front wheel wells with out having to grind down the inside. I was doing some more research on KITT, and for a brief second in the opening credits , you can see the rear underside and it has a plate that is covering up the under carriage. And during one of the shows, (watch 3 so far) when the car is jumping the CG version of the car has a complete under carriage plate. So I started cutting up some sheet styrene to see if I want to try and go route .

Here is a quick mock up, I think I still need to do a little work to the stance better, but getting there.

I was thinking about doing a foreign car build , thats kinda funny a CBP for abandoned CBP,s -
That is one beautiful build , great job
-
Ok so you have a lot more , but I was meaning for this CBP , you know what might look cool, do it in the green, but do the hood you got in like a flat or matt black, I think that would look very mean and cool. Yes i agree you should get some work done on Nicks car, before he gives you those fake tears next

Are the touch up bottles in a spray bottle or do you have to use them with a spray gun/airbrush?. Is highland metallic green the shade of green for the bullitt mustangs?. I take it you are going to finish the daytona before you start the mustang builds?. I agree the paint does look good, the pics hide a little of the flaws, its not smooth as glass now that it has dried more, but nothing a little wets sanding wont fix. I will see how well I get the clear coat to go on and maybe I can skip that step, I dont really like doing it, and I feel its only worth it for show/contest builds. I took another pick of the wheels and tires, I stripped the chrome off before I really started doing research on the knight rider version and what seems to be it has chrome wheels , lucky for me I just happen to have a can of chrome spray from rustolem, its not perfect but close. P.S. Olskool- you got six stangs waiting for you to start working on them, crack one of those babys open, you know you want to

I had a little issues with the paint, so I decided strip and start over again, so it is repainted, going to clear coat it in the next day. Also got a little bit of work done on the chassis.

Here is what I have got done so far
-
I just got done doing the final wet coat( so I hope), and have been doing some work on the engine and interior. I need make a darker shade of red for some of the interior too. I will get some pics posted soon.

Well I am not sure if I am ever going to get this one finished, I have been having nothing but problems getting it painted. Now I know its not all my fault is I have been trying to use kyrlon yellow and I have been building up the layers with light coats. when I go to do the wet coat it craze's I think is the term. So this is the fifth time I have had to strip it. I have almost gone thru the entire can of paint. I do have some tamyia yellow, but I dont know if there is enough in the can to do one more paint job. I could use a different color but I would have to take a part the chassis and repaint it as well and I dont want to do that. :banghead: This is why I only use krylon very rare now. I like that shade of yellow that it is, for some reason I have been having problems painting all the sudden.
