  1. Time to get back to this one, and up next is getting the body painted.

  3. Haha, yes, the Camaro, I am going to edit my post, typo
  4. Samuel, can you custom mix colors? , like say a color that was used on a 84 Oldsmobile, can you mix that up?
  5. Between the two Ford kits and the one Chevy kit, Revell did a 20 thousand piece run of the tooling( guessing they did 5k run of Danica's kit), with the bodies and one part tree being different. The agreement expires this year so it will be very interesting to see what happens moving forward, and will they tool up the Camaro body, one reason why I am holding off on getting the resin body.
  6. For me, it all started back in Feb, I emailed to get some colors mixed up for me, two weeks went by and I didnt hear back from him, he sent out the news letter, so I replied to that and finally got a hold of him, fast forward to the 9th of March and I paid for paints, and then two weeks went by and nothing, so I emailed him to find out what was going on , and never heard back from him. What upset me is a friend of mine order paint on the say day , 9th, he emailed him about three days ago and got a reply from him in less than an hour. I knowing there was some issues, I used a secondary email address , but who knows if he got them. I finally to get his attention filed a Paypal claim, which I am sure upset him but I had no idea what was going on, and I gotta protect my money , simple as that. At this moment I am not sure if he is still sponsoring my Youtube channel , I am very sadden by all this, Jameston has always done me right and never once have things been like this. But like he told my buddy, his paint database got wiped out and why there was a delay getting orders out, which I completely understand , but it would of been nice if he would of let me know the on the first email I sent , I would of been happy to of waited for him to get things sorted and his data base back.
  7. Oh gosh Erik, you are not alone, I hate doing white now too.
  8. Well Steve, the title does say color, so now that we have cleared things up a bit What color of paint do you use the most of, not counting primer.
  9. Yep, doing a bump I think my second most used color would have to be aluminum
  10. I honestly hope he can get things righted, I would love to see Gravity succeed, I would love to see Jameston get his ship righted and back to where he once was in the hobby, there is such a big demand for color matched paint that so many of us builders want.
  11. You pretty much nailed it Dwayne, well said sir.
  12. This still doesnt make want Spam, but yo that is nice , good job
  13. This, but so many in the hobby dont understand that its better in the long to run for them, they only see the current, and not looking towards the future.
  14. Ok, things must of changed then, at time I dont think he did, or it was something like it would take it as a suggestion, but that is good know, thanks Mike.
  15. Scalefinishes isnt doing any better right now , and I am about ready to end our partnership, he just wont return my emails asking about my order I paid for on the 9th, but he responded to a friends email asking about his order placed at the same within the hour, I am done, I must of really peepee'd in Jamestons cheerios to deserve this. This is what I now from the email my friend got, he had something happen with his computer and lost his entire paint database. I realize this thread is about Gravity paints and not about SF My only issue is with Gravity is Mate doenst do on demand mixing like SF and Zero will do, he only sells colors that he gets premixed . I think Tru-color can mix on demand, I will see them next month , but the sample paints they gave us were pure BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH so not sure about them.
  16. Here we go, Clint's 2018 HAAS ride, decals are from Stoney but for the 2017 year, the only difference from 17 to 18 is the anniversary SHR logo for 2018, and the contingency decal placement. Painted with Tamiya's new lacquer jar paint, over Mr Surfacer Black with a few coats of semi gloss clear and a coat of dull coat. Tire decals from Powerslide. Lowered ride height, made a low downforce spoiler from the snap kit spoiler, splitter cut from .15 sheet plastic, added some window braces, wedge adjustment bolts and the few missing roll bars.
  17. Alright, this is gonna warp this one up, first, body in a few coats of clear, two coats of semi gloss clear and a coat dull coat, the SGC was just a bit too much shiny Tires, almost done with them Spiltter and LDF spoiler, the spoiler is from the snap kits that's been cut down, spiltter cut from .15 sheet plastic
