  1. I love that cab!! Looks really nice, my trouble would be deciding what hood configuration to build?? It would look great with so many of them!! Mark
  2. Really a fine build Jim!! I love the Fleet cab over trucks. An unplated AMT tanker would look fantastic behind her. Mark
  3. You're fast! Glad they are being enjoyed!! Mark
  4. That is a very sweet truck! I love it, gonna have to try one of those kits soon. Mark
  5. Very nice work!! And thank you for that 1:1 picture of old 402. I have one to build again one day, and I will be putting the 3408 in it too. Mark
  6. Tim that Pete really turned out great! I love the color, the pictures are great! I am surprised the mixer blends in so well on a newer build, but it does. Mark
  7. Thanks, I wish I did have pictures of some of the other configurations, but no. I originally built it very close to the box art, then a tractor, the same color, it fell apart, and then was jade green dumper with plow and spreader from the Ford kit, a tanker for a while, then?????? a pile of junk, then stripped to make this which was 12 years ago. I have 2 Revell ag K100s with similar stories, they are both in pretty bad shape right now, I hope to rebuild one of them this winter. It will feature a frieght train set-up of 2 Cummins KTA coupled together Mark
  8. It's the longer barrel, the short barrel they offered was a copy of the Challenger drum. The basement/cellar blows, good thing there were no models down there. Mark
  9. That looks great! I really like the color too, those one-coat laquers are great. Mark
  10. Thanks guys for all the compliments. I don't think KFS make the mixer anymore, and I don't recall the #. Really with the REX mixers more available than they used to be, it is not needed. Hopefully my tires will be here this week for it and then she goes in the case. I gotta go work on pumping 3 feet of water out of my basement! Thanks Irene!!!!! Mark
  11. Hello all, This is the truck that re-sparked my interest in the hobby. I had all of my old truck models in an attic that was being converted to a room, I simply could not let this truck die. This model was bought for me by my Grandfather when I was about 10, I am 40 now, this truck has been many things, dump, tractor, plow, repainted I can't remember how many times and finally reborn into this right before I exited the hobby in 99-00. This current bulld is the original cab, hood, grille, fenders, all riding on a complete scratch built frame, RNK front wheels and tires, Clint Freeman pusher, and tag axles, 2 holes, and front drive axle. KFS supplied the mixer kit, I scratch built the catwalks, ladder, fenders, etc. I have a very aggressive set of rear tires on the way for it, other than that, she's done (until I'm 60!). Take care, Mark
  12. Hi, I have seen them come up on ebay from time to time, just checked there are no current listings. Here is a link to the seller, keep an eye on them, they seem to sell out. I have not used them, but they look good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RESIN-AGGRESSIVE-REAR-TIRES-WHEEL-BACKS-1-25TH-SCALE-/330598646991?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf93704cf
  13. That's cool, does he have a web site?? Or does he only sell on ebay? Thanks
  14. Welcome to truck models. I have built all of the kits you mentioned, I like the RofG Peterbilts better, nicer details in my opinion. For an older truck I really like the original Ertl/MPC/General Mills Macks, and Internationals. Those build really nicely, it is hard to belive they are 40 years old. Whichever you choose, have fun, Mark
  15. Hello all, I have a couple trailers I am working on, and I need some air ride parts for modernizing the suspensions. Is, or has, anyone made resin kits for this?? I would think it would be popular?? Also for scratch building, would be handy, and there isn't much to rob from. Hey Eric, are you reading this?? LOL Mark
  16. The paint is looking good, can't wait to see some shine on that one. Mark
  17. Hi Chad, Consider it done! I will get a couple together tonight and ship them out to you, try to get me some pictures of the builds. Regards, Mark Lottero
  18. Very neat build idea, very well done!! Mark
  19. I'm late to the party! Beautiful build Bob, do I follow this right, there is no engine in that kit?? That is ridiculous! Mark
  20. The Bill Sign's truck modeled by Revell had the KTA Cummins engine in it. I have a truck book around here that shows it, I will look for it. Very nice build you have there!! Mark
  21. Very nice build! I like the color choice as well. Mark
  22. No, sorry, not that. Earlier.........
  23. http://www.truckpaper.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=2703929& This is the truck I am copying, not exact, but for the most part. If you look at the under cab shots, that' swhat I was referring to. It might not be factory though?
  24. That is VERY nice work!! I love it. Mark
  25. Ben, Good Idea, I will fiddle aroung with the wheel pins tonight. I like the cigarette foil idea, two packs will cost more than the truck! LOL Mark
