  1. i"ll chime in with a new project if I may. I have fox body and sn95 projects on the forum, and wanted to start a 1st gen to post to this thread. anyway, it's the scale productions 1967 Eleanor GT500 transkit. I happen to find this online after looking for a while and am gonna dive in finally. of course the donor kit is the amt 1967 GT350 kit. also have been scratchbuilding right off the bat. just started working on the chassis, have a drop in style fuel cell with sump built, and almost done with a heidt's style 4 link rear suspension, just gotta add the panhard bar and clean up the brackets. added subframe connectors, and will using the front mustang II/ ifs suspension from the 32 phantom vicki kit. here's pics as of now. pics of the build so far
  2. I just placed a big order of resin go fast parts from kris Morgans madmodeler. Gonna be applying most of these to a couple of pre-1970 mustangs.
  3. I felt way better at the time, til I figured out the simple issue that led to the rage. Then of course having to change and paint the new hood.
  4. I've never actually lost it and destroyed a model, been very very irritated, mostly at paint goof ups or final assembly, something goes wrong then I have to ruin my paint job to get it to fit. But have lost it doing a head gasket job on a talon tsi years ago and beat the hood with a breaker bar, but in the back of my head I think I did it cause I had another one.
  5. I like the 95 Saleen speedster mustang. It has the vortech style supercharged 351 Windsor with a t56 trans, disc brakes all around, and the wheels look ok on other late model cars. I've gutted a few of these recently and have only built 1, and it didn't fit together all that well, so they work good as parts.
  6. Wow thanks for all the help, I think I'm going for the look more of the aftermarket mustang 2 kits that are offered for almost every classic/ street rod today. I've used the one from the revell 37 ford before on a 63 nova build and that's the look I'm going for now. It's going in a 67 mustang coupe build I'm gonna be starting once the resin body gets here. I'm building a 1:24 replica of my real 67 coupe project. There's a pile of heidt's front and rear suspension I have waiting to go into it.
  7. My bad, it was a ford, and I'll have to look for the Vicky and the willy's. Thanks for feedback.
  8. Im looking/ wondering if there's an aftermarket mustang II front suspension setup (1:25 scale of course) out there? I know it comes in the revell 37 chevy street rod, but I'd like to avoid buying 1 or more of these kits only for the front suspension. If available, I'd like to get a hold of a couple/ few of them. Anyone?
  9. I happen to find that stradasports.com had 1 in stock, so I got it. I haven't seen it for sale from scaleproductions directly.
  10. Greg, is there a link or website where I can check out the Eleanor tk? I found 1 scale productions kit a couple months ago and bought it, but want another. Please let me know thanks.
  11. Nevermind I just found it, got a 67 gt kit on the way.
  12. I have a 1:1 scale 67 coupe myself. How do I go about contacting to order? This looks awesome.
  13. Yeah, more of a 95 style, the cobra r hood is scratchbuilt with sheet styrene glued in place then the edges are filled with putty and a couple hours of shaping with sand paper then covered in filler primer. then sanded again before the base coat went down. Thanks for the compliments.
  14. just got my metallic black lemans stripes painted today, and of course had to put back on chassis to check it out. will be doing detail work on the body then gonna bury in clear soon.
  15. Hey Ryan thanks for the link, I'm gonna order in the am.
  16. My bad Rodney, I removed the passwords from fotki, should be able to see full size pics now.
  17. I removed the passwords on fotki so they can be checked out as a bigger pic. Thanks
  18. Shucky, all of that looks amazing. I was wondering how you attach all the pieces together, ca glue? Or what else? Also how do I go about ordering some turbos and prochargers from you? They also look amazing and I'm really wanting to build a turbo pro street car? Anything helps, thanks.
  19. Whale, how do I go about ordering some turbos and prochargers from shucky? I looked at all his pics on fotki and it all looks incredible, I'd like to have some of his castings for my collection.
  20. I looked at shucky's collection of turbos and superchargers on fotki. How do I go about contacting him to place an order? I'd like to buy a few of all of the mentioned above. Any help?
  21. This is the Tamiya Evo 7 Rally Car. It is all box stock, I started building it as the rally car with the rally team paint and decals provided with the kit. I got to where it was time to paint the body, and wanted it to be a little different, so its just painted a deep burnt orange with gun metal wheels, so it looks more like a mean steet car. This is the last of my "ricer" models for now, back to muscle/ mostly mustang models from now on. Thanks for looking.
  22. This is the older Tamiya '92 3kgt vr4 kit, it is all box stock except Aoshima 19" wheels. I did this as a replica for a buddy who bought the real thing, then moved away before i got the model done. its done now and has been on the shelf for a couple of years. i dont have any pics of the real car, but here is pics of the model.
  23. yep, just signed up with fotki, thats the way to go for sure, thanks for all the help.
  24. that sounds awesome, i had to sell my real car to pay bills off... yuk. so i bought a 1967 mustang high option car recently and am gonna make a long tem project outta that, most likely an Eleanor replica, and i already have a scale productions 67 eleanor trankskit to do a 1:1 1:24/25 set of those too.
  25. some more pics, slipped together for mockup
