  7. Your welcome Dan
  8. The interior is almost complete......the body is off to the caster.......................rest of the parts will go later. If you are looking to get the body only, with hood let me know. you can use a 57 vette to finish it with a lot of work or make your own,,,,,,the chassis kit and interior will be done later...maybe the first of Oct.......PM me for further details .........................getting there
  9. I am working up the interior of the car now. I am making it so it is easy to assemble and using a few commercial parts to make it better looking. I narrowed a 58 Impala dash and am using the seats since they are close to period and look closer to what is used in the original. The side panels are scratch built to simulate the origionals closer. There is very little detail that I have to go by so some is a little creative. There will be some carpeting on them and lots of chrome The last picture shows my 57 Buick sitting on the same chassis. I will cast a chassis to use on the Buick and use some of the same interior components
  10. That is just gorgeous,,,,,,,,,,,,,thank you for adding it ....it does follow how the thread has been going,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tha cwetianly should be inspiation
  11. will this get you started
  12. looking mean
  13. here is the final stance with the new chassis,,,more photos uploaded to flicker.....will have the prototype ready soon Thanks for all the comments... I will start to take reservations for the kit (verbal,no money) to see if it will be a viable kit.................................will come 2 ways,,,complete kit and body only. more photos to follow.
  14. very nice and clean
  15. Part of the interior is done and the chassis is ready......There will be a 55 Corvette required for a donor car to complete the suspension (bolt in) The motor will also be derived from this kit. There is simulated carpet pattern on thee floor of the interior. This was accomplished by stippling glazing spot putty with a dryer sheet and a stiff brush. Included in the resin castings will be the chassis, body, and complete interior less the steering wheel, also from the 55 corvette kit. additional photos are on flicker(My photo-bucket has been exceeded in 4 accounts) I am having a hard time uploading decent photos from my computer. Please click the link for full size detailed photos. Sorry for the inconvenience. http://www.flickr.com/photos/22767382@N08/
  16. sent
  17. That can easily be done.................................. It would be a good base for that,,,,,,,the donor car would be a corvette with a chassis stretched 3/4" yes it is typo........58 chevy ...sorry
  18. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/22767382@N08/9863164713/" title="DSCN6087 by krborst, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2863/9863164713_c9b3f161d9.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="DSCN6087"></a> this takes you to flicker and if you keep hitting left button there are more piccys of the new chassis
  19. I am reworking the interior and need the rear seat for a 28 chevy,,,,,,,,AMT.....DOES ANYONE HAVE ONE I CAN GET FOR THIS.......thank you
  20. Thank you for the suggestion,,,,,I will try it that way on a sample to see how it works out. Sounds a lot easier than my way.
  21. I finally have the glass installed in this.....Here is some piccys with the phatt chevelle that has been rework chassis wise. I just used plastic from a donut box for the glass as I do in all my models.
  22. I have to try a few ways of doing it but yes I am going to try......I could just chrome it and brush it but I dont think that is the way to go....One thought is to use aluminum foil to try to simulate the stainless that was used.
  23. There is a lot of conflicting information on this car and I am wondering if there is much of it that is correct. Other than the photos at least.. I have several different photos attributed to the running gear and chassis of this car and will work from there. . You've gone so far with this, that having the chassis correct, especially since nobody really has seen a real one, would be the crowning achievement!.....I am going to work up a better chassis than what I have now.....it needs to have more work done on it so that I can have it cast also......It will be set up for a Corvette engine so that some can use a donor engine and tranny, I am also going to work up a better interior for casting, what I have now will not cast up very good More on this latter. I have been concentrating on the .body to this point and just trying the interior that I have. For me it would be ok but to cast up it is not even close to being ready. One thing at a time.
  24. This is being worked on,,,,,,,,,I have to work up a good interior to cast and get a cast-able chassis for it. I could use a good 57 chassis with front end components to work from. I am going to rework the interior. The body should be off to the caster this week.
