I will say only one thing. With all the complaints from Paul and all the discussions about this so called Pedro and him copying stuff, this is the best type of free advertising Pedro will get. I bet he has people looking/criticizing his work and even if a small, percentage of people buy, he's surely selling every piece he puts out. Paul on the other hand, may have stuck his foot in his mouth so bad, that he's been deleting his posts after only what I can assume, has been regret. Maybe Paul knows Pedro after all...... hmmmm....

I've done plenty of trades here and on other forums. I believe both parties are responsible when sending it out. Doing so in a timely manner is a plus. Anytime I send something out I pay for tracking. It's my protection in case they claim they didn't receive it. If they don't receive it for whatever reason it's my responsibility to give them. Refund or some type of compensation. Insurance does wonders if the package does get lost. I normally expect the same courtesy. And to me, one bad trade is enough to not trade with them. If they can't make it right, I'm not willing to risk putting myself in that situation. If they made it right then technically it wasn't a bad trade. But I do believe that sharing these experiences helps other make decisions. It's called word of mouth. Good or bad. Social media is a powerful thing I just saw it in action on Instagram. Guy posted that another guy hadn't send him anything since December. Called him out by name and boom! By the end of the day a kit was being shipped to him. Nobody likes to be called out in public but sometimes it's the only thing that gets people moving.

Model Cars Magazine, The Future
IceMan Collections replied to Gregg's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
700k-800k is certainly impressive, Gregg. Just know that it doesn't mean 700,000 different people. If I acces the website from my computer and my tablet and my phone Like i, for one, do, that's not three different persons. It uses IP addresses to keep count. Anywho, I agree on the with everyone here. Having to pay will lower the amount of people visiting. I also still agree with digital version of the magazine as an option. Not only digital, but as an option. -
I've personally never had a problem. Always get them within a week. We even traded some bodies.

1963 Pontiac Bonneville, New, Outdoor Shots.
IceMan Collections replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in Model Cars
This build is amazing, Steve. Excellent! Moving is stressful, exciting and fun all at the same time. I've been packing my shop for the last two weeks also for a move. Going from El Paso to Phoenix. From hot to hotter. North Dakota doesn't sound bad when you compare it to the desert. So much to pack. And goes by so fast. I keep trying to reduce my stash, but I keep buying kits. Habits die hard. Good luck with the. Ove. Can't wait to start seeing your builds here again. -
Thanks Chris

Any info on this kit
IceMan Collections replied to IceMan Collections's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
that's nice. It is in fact a JF kit? Did anyone else make them before JF? The trailer looks like tori current Cosmic Trailer but this one I have has clear parts and an opening rear hatch. -
What information do you guys have on this? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for playing devils advocate here, Pete. Valid attempt at turning this into a negative thread. Let's not let that happen, because that was not my intent when I created this thread. Nobody is taking shots at this guy and no need to get defensive. Good for him if it's worth that much to him. I was in deed curious to see if anyone else shared his point of view. I completely understand all of your explanations of every single POV you could think of. I honestly didn't think of all those. None the less, it seems you wouldn't be interested in buying this kit at the listed price either. Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts. I always find these auctions curious and since I had never heard of the kit, I wanted to know what other builders/collectors thought.
