  1. yes sir. The rails.
  2. Forgive me for bringing thread back up after a year. I was looking for info on this resin body and I found this. Great build! But more eye catching, the rails. I cannot seem to find a thread from when you built them. Any additional info on material used?
  3. I used maybe half an egg but I guess it depends on how big the area is that youre masking. I'm not sure what type of silly putty everyone is using or doing with it but this one didn't "ooze" anywhere. It was like soft clay. so in the sharp edges, I used a toothpick and a popsicle stick. I just pressed it around and shaped it where I needed to. This is not to be confused with the slimey stuff that's out there. I could roll this silly putty up into a ball and bounce it on my floor just like when I was younger.
  4. I like the sound of that. I think orange or red may work. Hmmm
  5. thanks guys. The Civic is Hasegawa. Streetblisters is the brand of these wheels. They’re from Spain. I carry them for US buyers.
  6. Here is something I recently started on. I started carrying Streetblisters items in my store so I had to give them a try. Going with a gloss black. Body still needs to be cleared and buffed. Still trying to decide whether to leave the wheels white or go with a different color. First time trying carbon fiber too.
  7. Silly Putty maybe? You can reuse the putty plenty of times after.
  8. I'm happy to help with any questions. email: info@icemancollections.com
  9. Thanks for the kinds words fellas. Come over any time, Mike! I have a few on evilBay as well. PM for more info and a discount code Link in my signature.
  10. Maybe a flat/dull coat on top of it all?
  11. Wow!.... Just wow! Best looking iroc I have eve seen in scale. The paint looks flawless and that engine bay?! My goodness! Outstanding work!
  12. It like it in this color. The taillights look good too. Different than the american version. My wife drove one off the lot with 12 miles when it first came out. Of course I built a replica of it in pearl white when the kit was out. My daughter own it now and I do have to say its a pretty reliable little thing. A lot of room. Fun fact: its considered a van by insurance companies. HAHA!
  13. Thanks Gabriel. Here is a before and after picture. Hosted on Fotki
  14. yeah! I think I k ow which one you’re talking about or at least a similar one. It showed a dragster with maybe 5 or 6 colors from front to back. I’ll have to look for it. It might help.
  15. Thank you guys. @espo I want to. I don’t access to my air rushes where I’m at so I might have to try it with spray cans. Still trying to decide. @High octane you and I both, bud.
  16. Started this one last month and I need to hurry up and make the deadline for it! Here's my attempt at a 57 Ranchero. Found some inspiration from this one below. Here's my take on it. I started with a JF body. After a lot of sanding and a big mess I got it to where I was comfortable. After some primer and a some red paint, its starting to look like it's on its way. Also started fitting the bed cover from a sheet of styrene. Pegasus steelies to save the day. More work on the engine coming up.
  17. oooh geez. This is so clean!
  18. Not sure what it looked like before but this is the way it should definitely look. Nice!
  19. That looks great. Good job, man.
  20. Thanks Tom. That's too bad. Now I'm left wondering if they really are SJS.
  21. Would anybody happen to have or know where I can get an SJS Catalog or list of items they used to carry. I came across a handful of wheels that I'd like to see how they described so I know exactly what I have.
  22. Than you, Michael.
  23. Hello all. Does anyone know how can I do that?
  24. This one is so cool!. Looks great. One question....How do you get inside the BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH thing?!
  25. I will say only one thing. With all the complaints from Paul and all the discussions about this so called Pedro and him copying stuff, this is the best type of free advertising Pedro will get. I bet he has people looking/criticizing his work and even if a small, percentage of people buy, he's surely selling every piece he puts out. Paul on the other hand, may have stuck his foot in his mouth so bad, that he's been deleting his posts after only what I can assume, has been regret. Maybe Paul knows Pedro after all...... hmmmm....
