pretty nice! i never saw this kit built. You made a good job!

Thanks Byron! Just take a look to ebay...thanks for your tips buddie I searched a lot in the web to get informations about the difficult GL they used. A nneverending story, if you dont pick up one episode that you will build. So your "intro" is the same as my thoughts: i built this one and no other As i saw the movie the first time, i am a fan of Bo and Duke (not the tv series), in my view they are perfect as charakteres. i watched it couple times to build "my" GL as close as i could. If i am right - and you tell the same - the only one with a Hemi is those moviecar, Cooter told i after rebuilding and a really, really short look under the hood shows the Hemi. For me, it makes it easier, but the mpc-kit is a terrible one...a lot of scratchbuilds, changes...but i have fun with it. Back to your work. I like your interieur. with the paint you hit the nail - the same color is on my list to buy and paint mine. Also your paintjob and (intersting) details is perfect! Only for the orange (sure, they are all a kind of orange) i went to a paintshop and they made me the original "Big Bad Orange" in a spray can. There i make no changes, but thats me...a little nuts in authentic if i build a movie car So work on buddie, i think your GL will be a winner

Nice builts buddies! Some interesting cars...i am impressed as always. After we moved our home and my working place is "ready" for some plasticstuff....Nick, i would like to jump in. No new kit, but i have a gluebomb right now, that is waiting to be rebuild: Its a Mercedes 300SL Roadster from italerie. Will get a drivetrain from a Ferrari Superamerica-thing or so...

Hi Byron, nice progress so far. Like what i see...cause i'm building a General the same time...but i'm working on the "new" issued mpc-kit. Where can i find the auto trader commercial? Is it a clip or something? I am just interested, what the differences are between the "new one" and the movie car (2005) that i am building.

Thank you very much for kind of words! I appreciate it. Perhaps...i tell you the story about. After Tim Flock had a fast season with his 300, a team member took his ride and made it "street legal". He mounted head lights and stuff back, drove it a couple of years. Some day, the engine broke down, he tried to fix it and....so the time goes....lost interest and "forgot" it. in this century, some racefans from Tim found the lost Chrysler after a long search like detectives. Now it is their job, to make the Chrysler run again, because it is in good shape. So they filled the tires with air to pull it on a trailer... thats the story behind it i thought

Here we go the second round Thanks for your attention. comments always welcome.

Today i will present you my '55 Chrysler 300 "Tim Flock". Perhaps you remember the WIP >here< long time ago, so you can read the progress. But now it is done in June this year - the last point to finish was the water on the diorama. Enjoy! ...more coming up...
