  1. As MUCH as I like the "New" 32 coupe from Revell. Those little 32's that AMT made are special in my heart! They're the FIRST of the 25th scale kits i ever had! The 32 coupe was the second kit i ever built!. It's NICE ta see this old warrior lookin GOOD on the table again! The little T is cool too. Is it a Parts Pak Build or did you do it Old school? You know just stuff out your parts box???? Either way, they BOTH lookin REAL good!!!
  2. Nu# 3 are headrests, nu# 5 is the roof extension from the Tom Daniescustum street Vette by Monogram in 24th scale. The chassis with the six looks to be from the AMT 53/55 Corvette, The Camaro is an AMT original issue. Hope this helps.
  3. I haven't seen the program, but i enjoyed "OverHaulin" and he (Foose) seemed like ALOT more approchable and easier going than Boyd EVER was. I wouldn't even watch that show after they showed what kinda guy he was. Like my momma says, if you can't say nothing nice, DON'T say anything.I'd never met him either, but don't think I'd want too.
  4. Hey, not to worry, we ALL started slow. An your sweeties wearin some nice shoes there!(Kinda thin though, ain't she?)
  5. Actually, if they put the SAME amount of effort into the new Chrysler they got comimg out, they'll have some real competition for the 'Little Two" (Revell and AMT/ERTL). I understand that just these two items won't make GREAT changes in the industry, but maybe it'll make the other guys start to makeing the more 'off the wall" types of kits. i mean, really, who'da ever THOUGHT that we'd get a Hudson Hornet????
  6. GREAT job,Blake!!! Handsome little guy. Gotta LOT of hair too. Maybe he'll be a hippy???? Congratulations,Dad AND Mom, You's Done GOOD!!!!! God Bless you ALL!!!
  7. Now THAT'S just something you just CAN'T UNsee!!!!!
  8. Tim, i think Denver is where Golden Bell press is located.MCM's HOME per say, is in Hawaii. But if you got together with some of your modeling buddies, maybe you could get some help in starting one. Do you belong to a club? If so, bring it up with them. It couldn't hurt. B)
  9. this one is kinda a toughy, but Imma gonna go with REAL! Been wrong before, so i HOPE i'm right this time!

  12. I agree, that design IS a good lookin one! The subtle mods REALLY work on it, and I like the split window treatment!!! VERY nice conversion . Too bad GM didn't see this!!!
  13. Juergen, it came out GREAT!!! (as usual) Buildin models sure beats chasein bad guys huh? now that it's gettin winter over there, hope to see ALOT more builds coming off that NEW workbench of yours!!! Great job AGAIN, my Brother!!!!
  14. Mike, that came out NICE!!! I found one on the Bay a while back and was really shocked when i saw it was molded in red!!! Never haveing bought one when new, I didn't know it was molded in color. Yours came out NICE! I just hope mine comes out as nice! GREAT job!!!
  15. Don, glad ta see ya made it back in!(LoL) I retiered in 06 with 32 years at GM. The first few months were ok, but after a while it got boring too. Then in Jan of 07 i found this place . after readin about it in the mag, i checked it out, an now i'm kinda like a fixture . I'm here EVERYDAY (as long as i can access a comp!) and I've made some GREAT freinds. Retirement is cool, but you really do gotta plan ahead, caz not all your buds'll want ta hang out at the same time. i spend so much time here and on the forum i mod, that i really don't build too much aymore. But then again, after doin this for over 50 years, it's more of a habit anymore than a hobby. Oh it STILL enjoy it emmensly, but it doesn't mean as much to me to BUILD EVERY DAY as it used to. I ALWAYS enjoy seeing a well built model, as i do understand the passion that goes into one. But they don't make my world go round, like some of these guys need them to do. I do it now just to keep busy. Buy what strikes your fancy, build it. ENJOY building it, an you and retirement should get along just fine!
  16. Yep, THAT'S a Hot Rod!!! Came out REALLY nice too!
  17. Well Daddy-O, if your tryin ta make it look like the PICTURE, i think you've pretty well succeded!!!! it REALLY looks Good, jus like it should!!!

  20. VERY nice build. I especially like the flash burns on the fuselage,by the .50's. Also the exhaust stains on the engine nacele's is real nice! GREAT job for havein been such a long tme! 1/48th is my favorite aircraft scale.(after 1/25,24th scale!)
  21. Nice clean build, Brandon. Your paint is nice and smooth,an the BMF is really nice. All around an nice build to be proud of!!!
  22. I wonder do Jack Daniels employee's gotta ta breath tests???? i know UPS drivers do! GREAT job again, Juerg, looks GOOD! Nice color combo too. Is it yours or is it actually a Jack Daniels design? It sure LOOKS GOOD!
  23. Is that the little truck i sent you? It looks familiar. And is it gonna be a UPS truck????
  24. One of our members, Mike"raisin" Garret did that same thing with the 68 Plymouth Police Car kit. He removed the B pillar, put some bucket seats, big motor, cool wheels an a nice clean, smooth paint job, BADDA BOOM! a REALLY SWEET lookin little ride that would do ya proud in 1:1! I can't see why ya couldn't do it with the Monaco.
  25. WOW! they were able to do it AND bring it in at their estimated price!!! How cool is that! ordered me four packs, that should be enough till i figure out what ta do with em!!!
