Dave, "different' as in NON-production line parts? If so, then I guess we could assume that the two peice houseings of which you speak could possiobly be aftermarket parts? Mebbe? :D

Yeah, i know. It seems they really didn't try THAT hard to give us an AUTHENTIC Hemi Dart. Seems like it's just the Mr.Norms Dart with a Hemi. I already built one of those with the 69 Dart. :D

Gere, I THINK they only needed them IF the engines EXCEEDED a certain horsepower range. I think the cars like the Hemi Darts/Cudas came WITH Lakewood scattersheilds on the 4 spds. I remember seein somethin to that effect in the old Cars, and Hi-Performance Cars Magazines from back then. :D

AND, a kit THIS NICE just BEGS for a M.A.D. prewired dizzy to make it PERFECT!!!! Oh, by the way, I got the SECOND one cast. or was it the third one? Either way, it is a VERY NICELY cast resin kit, I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! :D

Niko, THANK YOU for posting it as you build it. I ALWAYS enjoy seeing the work that goes into seein a nice model built. Looks like it MIGHT have been an MPC 67 Vette kit. I like the way you took the doors off, are they going to be regular at the front hinge type, or you gonna go different, like gull-wing doors, or suicide? It's lookin good so far bro, don't stop now!!!

Ian, I don't know of ANYONE who casts one. It was one of my very first questions I asked when I first joined here, and the guys told me the difference, then , like I said, Either Marc, Or Steve, I'm sorry, I don't remember which, sent me a spare resin dash he had cast for himself. i never knew there were different dashes for those years, but they were right.

Nope, Jim, gotta be the light. It looks kinda funny to me too. But it looks like it's comming together nicely. That's a NICE kit isn't it? I bought about 6 of them things. the 66 Chevy's, ALL of them, were BEAUTIFUL cars!!! B)

Gary, The Modelhaus hood for the AMT kit IS a GT/GTA hood. If you need it stock, just file off the scoops. :)

Ahhh The simple wonderfulness of models! Pete's right it DOES look good! I can see where it can be commented on though, because I myself can't SEE where the AIR goes in. But ya know what? WHO CARES!!! it LOOKS GREAT!!!! And THAT'S ALL THAT COUNTS! You seem to be happy with how it looks , and I don't blame you,I like it and I think it looks GREAT! Excellent paint, color choice, engine detail, (even if it's not perfect!) wheels, it came out NICE!!!!! :)
