  1. C'mon a my house Chuck, I got PLENTY of ol ones you can have! Hey, didja notice that it tends ta ride kinda harsh in the front? that's caz ya FERGOT ta put SHOCKS up there Dude! Weight transfer not bein the most important reason fer shocks! Came out right nice there, nutso!!!!!
  2. Tommy, Isn't that just the most BEAUTIFUL car you've ever seen? It sure is for me! i like it better than ANY ferrari I've EVER seen! I was able to score one for 100 bucks a coupla years back, and i still am intimidated by ALL the parts in it! Yeeesh, might as well try to build a REAL one! Good luck on it my Bro, I KNOW you'll do it proud!!!!
  3. Personally, I like it. It looks more like a Shark from the profile veiw, than a barracuda! GREAT styling cues. REALLY like the "gills" Id spring for one.
  4. Now THERE'S an idea!!!!
  5. Actually Art, THAT makes the MOST sense, after all, it IS a car with a cargo bed, or like a station wagon, without a roof over the cargo area! Good ol Chev's, they always come thru!!!
  6. Paul, is that an original AMT kit, or the repopped yellow plastic kit? If it IS the repop, what primer did you use to cover it? I've had one for years, but never built it caz of that yellow plastic. Even bought a can of Tamiya white primer for it, just never got around to buildin it! Yours came out GREAT! it's KINDA motivated me!!!
  7. Funny how well that 5.0 looks in that engine compartment, like it SHOULD be there.
  8. Mike-O, Fred & Barney invented the LEOPARD skinned interiors, silly! My couzin Rick, from Tj invented the FIRS chopt top in 1948 in CuernaVaca Mexico, It was so the Cops would hurt they backs when leening down to look inside the cor when they pulled Los Chollos over back een the day! Naturally the gringos likeded it so they STOL the idea! But my cousin Ricky, from "Cousin Ricky's Auto Body Chop, open 24 hours, no cobber charsh anytine", created the firs choptop!!!! Beleive it, or DON'T!!!!!
  9. Yo Kev, WAZUP????? I personally think the tyres leave TOO much room in the wells, but thas jus me. I likes the color. AND the reasoning behind tha name. That pic from Lo-Lo would look bitchin on the trucklid. kinda finishes it off, ya know? Glad ta have ya back,Crazy boy! How's school goin? Any thing new goin on with that bad a$$ed hearse of yourn????
  10. Oh THAT jus ain't right on SOOOOOO many levels!!!!! Sure made ALOT of noise fer not doin anything!
  11. Ken, I've NEVER seen a trailer empteid like that by the tractor. My Uncle who lived in Texas owned a LARGE dirt hauling company( he contracted out to the Texas Dept of Roads an Highways) and his large dirt hauling trailers were of the type that the TRAILER had the hydralics installed to lift it while it was still hooked to the tractor. They had HUGE hydralic booms that lifted the box section of the trailer just like that, to dump the load. Maybe someone from Texas has seen the type of trailer i'm refering to. But I've never seen one like yours.
  12. Harry, to US that's an old candy wrapper, but to HER it's a Solar Insulateing Blanket, just like the ones on the old SkyLab!! Now THAT'S a Hi Tech Duck!!!!!
  13. Joe, your a GODFATHER!!!! Congrats my man!!! Great job seein ma thru here pregnancy! You dun REAL GOOD! I'm proud of ya!!!!!
  14. Yep, GOTTA give Steve the BIG thumbs up! One of the NICEST guys I've had the pleasure of dealing with! GREAT GUY! But yeah, he just SELLS castings, he DOES NOT cast them! Ray Parsons is the guy who casts for Steve. Ray is suffering from a desease that causes hin a great deal of pain, an tends to keep him down quite a bit of the time. On the days he's feelin better, he does what casting he can. He doesn't make his masters either, from what I understand, he has other guys do them and he casts them. He comes to the toy show at MCCC quite often an I talk to him when he's feelin ok. If he's not, you'll KNOW it. He told me the last time I saw him that he was looking for someone to take over R&R as he feels too bad to keep at it. I sure hope someone does take it over, as he DOES have some REALLY cool stuff. It ALL needs a little work, but sometimes he's the only game in town!!!
  15. Oh Bill, your just sto stuuuper!!! an you build good too!!!!
  16. Dusty, just by comin here you've made freinds!!! Welcome, MY freind. See you got ONE already! Things SURE have changed since you've been gone! DO NOT be intimidated by others builds. After all they're ONLY model cars, and the world could care less about who's better than who. The WHOLE idea is to find relaxation AND enjoyment in it. Yeah, there are some REALLY good modelers here( Usedta be ALOT more) but the guys that are here still are pretty good, at least I like them, (Ok their builds) Just join in the conversation, add your 2 cents, or ask questions, just get involved, an you'll get right into the grove. WELCOME!!!
  17. An old Promo gets NEW life!!! I got that SAME one! I used the interior and glass with the Speed City Resins 67 Buick GS conversion kit(Which I THOUGHT this was)and the chassis from the AMT 65 GTO. The 66 parts fit like a glove! Yeah, the one pictured IS a 66 Buick GS promo. I was hopein someone else had gotten the 67 kit, I wanted to see theirs. But that promo is REAL nice too. GLAD to see you lettin it see it's true potential!!!
  18. Oh hel no, I'da just gone ahead an got 'em! As long as I got the money to spend, yeah, I'da probably got 'em both. Don't worry about askin for permission to buy one, with all you do, you DESERVE one (or two!) (although, in SOME cases, it just may be WISER to ask!)
  19. I gotta agree Sam, That rascals Da MOOK! Your right, all it's missin is the cars! You've done a GREAT job so far!Don't stop now!!!

  22. Monty, check out the Big Guys section, an you'll find there's ALREADY a player in that feild! I DON'T know the Dirty secrets to it, but one group of fellows IS doin just that. They scan AND CREATE some REALLY gorgeous stuff there Daddy-O! A 1/8th scale 70 Cuda, sound good? THEY got one! A 1/8 Hemi? or Big Block Chebby? They got THEM too!!! Drop them a line to see wat else they got in mind. They even came out with a 1/25th scale Elenor!
  23. Lo-Lo, where'd ya get a 51 Merc? Even in die-cast I've never seen one. I think R&R may make one, but it LOOKS like yours is a Die-Cast. Who made it? Either way, it's lookin right nice!!!
  24. But it's a YENKO!!!! It at least needs one a them Tomato can mufflers!!!!! Too COOL! Great execution!
  25. Patience, Grassopper. Think not that your impatience will,in itself, an answer bring! Only the Harry One can bring TRUE enlightenment.So.........Dadat da daDAT!!! HARRYYYYYYY Up an ATTEM Junior!!!! I got the last one right, howdi do this time? C'mon Daddy-O Inquiering minds wanna knowed!!!
