CROOKED deals happen when you PUROPSELY offer to trade a kit YOU KNOW BEFOREHAND is JUNK!!!! You take a PERFECTLY GOOD, UNBUILT model, NOT a PEICE of JUNK in trade for what YOU KNOW IS something that is IRREPERABLE! Then instead of completeing a fair trade, you go on acting like you have personal problems that keep you from completeing your end of the trade for 6 MONTHS. Then you try to act like YOU were the one who got burned, when you KNEW all along that you were going to send JUNK inplace of a fair trade. How Others find out about someones PERSONAL buisness is because SOME unscrupulous individuals go telling others about things that they do NOT need to know . THEN AFTER YOUR CAUGHT, YOU offer to repace it with ANYTHING the person you RIPPED off would like. So, that person just asks for the ONLY thing he's looking for. Simple as that! DON'T offer to trade OR replace a trade with an offer if you DON'T intend to be straight up about it! Fortunately, the ripee may have a GOOD reputation for tradeing, and a Forum Brother offers to make the trade he was looking for, and comes thru for him, simply because he HAS traded with him, and KNOWS he IS an honest trader!

I gotta mess of these kit's in 68 and 69 issues, I LOVE this body style Dart. One thing i notice, with that separete trunk panel, it MAY be able to be modded into a 67 also. I know the tailights and front grille are different, but i think it'll be doable. I'm gonna end up with a few of them just for that! Havein the Dana and the Hemi with 4sp sure don't hurt either! MTM, your Michigan Front Loader is BEAUTIFUL!!! Where did you find it? I have RMR's Excavator, and I LOVE this kind of off the wall stuff! I know what you mean about the PayStar 5000, I payed 100 bucks for mine, only to see it re-issuede for around 50!!!

Marcos, your Ponty came out PERFECT!!! I'm REALLY impressed with the interior, My Brother-in-law Mike had one and his was Coppery Brown, with that gorgeous three toned interior! You got THAT rascal DOWN with your detailing! To ME, THAT really makes the whole car! I ALWAYS thought that seat pattern was SOOOO cool, When you see it for real, those cars were the Mookie Dook!!!! GREAT BUILD!!!

Academy HAS a Daytona Coupe kit????

Well it sure don't look bad! I gotta get me one a them bad boys!!!

Even though it happened in the 5th grade, I NEVER forgot about it! It was a Candy Blue 49 Ford coupe, I modded the front fenders and installed Jag XKE headlights, it kinda looked like a modern taurus, an it had the custom V'd tailights from the AMT 57 Ford sunken into the rear fenders vertically. It was my first custom paint job, my first from a can, and the first one I ever thought was nice enough to show off. I even knew who took it, Grady Stephenson, the theif! When I told our teacher, Mr.Bond, he said he couldn't do ANYTHING caz he DIDN'T see it!!! After that, I NEVER built a model to show again! I still build 'em, to the best of my ability, so I can enjoy them, And I've been known to give some away,if the individual REALLY likes one, but NO, I will NEVER enter another contest again, unless of course they let me carry my peice in the show, there is ARMED security AND the tables are being watched on closed ciurcit(?) T.V. DON'T EVER STEAL a KIDS model, they will NEVER forgive OR forget!!! Believe me!!!! ( Thanks Ed, I needed to get that off my chest!!!)

B, a LONG time ago, SAE did a feature on this same kit, only it showed how the car in your Dio,went from Showroom new to being a junker years later. Your dio would fit right in on how it coulda ended up as a barn find! Great job, it came out REAL nice!!! It's cool!

Lo Lo, I like the wheels!! The engine parts look good too! When you gonna have these ready for sale? Are the wheels actually chrome plated already, or do we gotta plate (Alcad) them ourselves? Either way, they look good!

Ed, Alan's a GREAT guy to deal with, an just to plain out KNOW! I should know, caz he's my Cuz! I've NEVER gotten ANYTHING from Al that wasn't TOP NOTCH, FIRST CLASS!! I'm glad to see him doing more and more off the wall stuff, the kinda stuff you CAN'T find anywhere! Who else casts 65 Merc parts at a REASONABLE rate? Other than Modelhaus you WON'T find 65 Merc parts, and HE'S got 'em! Alan, that's the old JoHan "Sox & Martin" Pro stock Cuda kit, from around 1971! Testors just used the molds to make it their Pro Street Cuda kit. It's got ALL kinds of old mold flash and dips in it. Your lucky you didn't get any short shots in it! It CAN be made into a NICE kit with patience, and it looks like you've got that! Take your time do as your doin, an I think you'll be happy with your results. In it's original form, it was a nice kit!
