See how tastes go??? The paint is kinda strange to ME, but then again, A MONSTER Engined Pro Stocked out KILLER Bug,is NOT yer everyday ride!! So, I guess the paint IS appropriate, it sure DON'T take ANYTHING away from your building talents! That sure IS One Bad BUG!!! Looks GREAT!!!(weird paint an ALL!!! )

Duh, Albert, It's PLASTIC! It's really NOT beyond your level. Just MAKE it fit! If ya got an old AMT 32 Ford kit layin around, those V-8 engines in them kits have little ears molded on them for engine mounts. If they don't touch the frame just extend 'em a tad and it should fit. If yer buildin for show, then NO it won't fly with the judges i don't think, but if yer doin it for yourself, then who cares! If you WANNA put a 4 banger in it, that's cool too, but myself, I'ma V-8 kinda guy, caz I DON'T want that NUT tryin ta smack me an tellin me I COULDA had one!!!

Capt'n, Ya know, I DON'T REALLY think the ol "wrappin 'is head in foil so's he can't read yer mind" trick is gonna work! If I saw the movie correctly, Ya gotsta wrap YOUR head in foil! Try it, an get back ta me! Meanwhile, I'd be REAL careful like wit alla them SHARP objects you got layin 'round there!!!

Bri, I can DEFINATELY relate! Ya know it was the ONLY foreign car I EVER owned! Very well built AND dependable too. That rascal started up in ZERO degree weather!Heater left ALOT ta be desired, but THAT (and it's weight) was it's only flaw! In fact it was the SAME color yellow as the one Tony pictured!

Man Tony, I gotta agree with Dave, For a BRUSH painted body, that rascal sure did come out GREAT! I once hadda Yellow 70 "Super Bug" as a work car. When I'd go over the Rouge River Briidge,on I-75 ,here in Deeetroit, I'd feel the wind tryin ta make me change lanes! It also was REALLY trippy when a big ol 18 wheeler would pass me, Combine both of those events AT THE SAME TIME, an I ended up sellin it just to get a HEAVIER CAR!!! Ended up with a 70 Chevy Impala,and no more lane changein problems!

Zoomer, You talkin 'bout how the rear bedsides of that Cameo truck are FIBERGLASS? It probly WOULDN'T be noticed on THAT caz lottsa folks probly don't know they had fiberglass fenders, BUT a Vette, well, I think THAT would be noticed!!! Of course, WEREN'T the VERY FIRST ones actually made of steel,BEFORE they went to "glass bodies? That might be cool!

WHY is this still a topic??? It's just as unmodelcar as Dave and I talkin about God! If GOD himself can't be a relevant topic, WHY IS THIS??? I could care less if the worlds gonna end, I KNOW where I'll (and Dave will) be. Seems like the ones who are concerened about these kinda things are the only ones who care about a NON MODEL CAR topic like this. Wasn't it posted already that ONLY MODEL CAR related stuff would be allowed? This sure a heck ain't got ANYTHING to do with our model cars OR this Forum! If this stuff keeps up, maybe we who believe in God should start up again, after all fair IS fair!!! If it's gonna be a MODEL CAR forum, THEN LET'S KEEP IT AS ONE!!!!!!! and keep ALL non-Model Car related stuff OFF!!! Won't say anything else, except maybe that all the folks that DON'T beleive in God SHOULD start concerning themselves if they REALLY believe this kinda krap!

Buba, don't take it so personal. It's NOT about not likein your builds,for sure! If you post, most of us'll look. Just caz we don't reply, doesn't mean it's NOT liked, Trucks ,especially Heavy ones, aren't everybody's cuppa tea. I personally DON'T build 'em, even though I DO gotta mess of 'em. If your talkin like pick-ups or street service vehicles, yeah, I LIKE ta see how imaginative the guys get when buildin them. Remember the guy who built tha REALLY COOL Quad cab Ford pick-up ALL customed out? He opened the doors, restyled the WHOLE interior, customed out the exterior,painted it a cool color.Now I REALLY liked THAT one, and I told him so. Trucks are kinda a personal thing, you either like 'em or ya don't. It's really that simple. I like ANY well build model, Truck or not! You guys that DO build'em gotta hard road ta follow,caz there ain't ALOT of aftermarket stuff for them, at least not as much as us Car builders got,so you guy's REALLY gotta think harder to make 'em different. Next time you post, If I see it, I'll say something. Don't quit postin just caz some of us (though it wasn't ment) tended NOT to say anything.

Bri, it's the Revell Shelby Series 1. By the looks of it, maybe you could use it to build the last 2 on your list, the blue one or the pewter one. But it LOOKS to ME like that blue one COULD be built with it, the basic body shapes LOOK to be similar. The front end looks kinda close,but you'd hafta re work the back a little. Check it out, it MIGHT work. Never know till ya try.

Bri, mebbe you could use a Shelby to start off on? Not a Cobra mind you, but the new one, that's silver on the box. The shapes seem to be close, it MIGHT work.

Personally a COMPLETELY HAND BUILT model like the Impala should win at Salt Lake! Yours is the ONLY one I've EVER SEEN! and when you bought the Chassis to Toledo last year I was blown away JUST by the FRAME!!! Didn't see anything that ambitious this year, though there might have been. You AND Tonio were missed, by ME if nothing else. Bri, THIS guy KNOWS of which he speakith! If you've EVER seen his stuff it IS TRUELY awesome!!! This is the best advice you could get! some of his builds are SO UNIQUE that you'll NEVER EVER see another one like it! That's why I LOVE this place SOOOO much! Just ask an thou shalt recieve!!!
