  2. Thierry, you about a buildin rascal, ain'tcha? Your doin GREAT brother! The way you work is impressive! This looks like it'll be done RIGHT! Can't wait to see this BEAUTIFUL monster done!
  3. Just from lookin at the interior bucket you can tell it's an R&R kit. THAT'S for SURE Rays sloppy work. But,if he's the only game in town, your stuck.
  4. Revellogram has reissued the Huey. It IS available. I have 4 of them I also have 2 more of the Hobbycraft Hughes 500 MD/TOW. The 500 is VERY basic but it builds into a VERY nice model.
  5. Yeah, Me too, Hugh. I usually buy a bottle or 3 at the toyshows My regular Vendor freind Mr.B, always brings me a bottle or two, but thuis last time, in Oct. be told me they were discontinueing it due to health regs, si I'm GLAD to hear about the fingernail polish thinner. It's NOT MEK or a substitute, so I THINK the thinner stuff may be the way to go. My wife goes to "Sallies" a beauty supply store near here an I'll be goin with her to check it out! Oh an thanks for the warning! I don't drink anyways.
  6. Makes sense ta me,Tom!
  7. THANK YOU Hugh. Now I know what to get. I was told the MEK was bad stuff to be breathein. Since I never sniff the stff I'd rather use something I'm familiar with!!! I DRINK the Amdrose, my stuff goes together GREAT!!!!
  8. That's good to know. Is it hot enough to warp 10 thous,. plastic sheet? Or 20 or 40 thous.? I use alot of sheetstock for various things, and Ambroid glued 'em all without bein so hot it warped the plastic. Thanks.
  9. Well, so far,Thierry, you've been handleing EVERYTHING thats come up WONDERFULLY! Your quite the modeler Bro. Your doin a GREAT job on it!!!! PLEASE keep us updated!!!!!!
  10. I tend to get all the way to ALMOST completion, then I get to the color coats an it goes back in the box! i like doin the comlicated parts,Steerable fron ends, opening doors an trunks, modifieing bodies in general(after all, it's only plastic)then, hen all what i think is the fun stuff, I put it away and start on something else! Got ALOT of need paint only needed to finish kits. But hey, THAT's the fun part to me, I don't need to finish them to enjoy the hobby.
  11. THANKS guys! I exclusiely use Ambroid liquid glue and I've gotten quite comfortable with it after all these years! There's a beauty supply store near here where my wife an daughter buy their needs, so I'll look there. THANKS AGAIN,guys!!!
  12. I got the wagon, it's cool! got the 71 Mustang coupe, the 70 Falcon, and one two more, and I've NEVER been sorry!
  13. My friend from High Schools GTX was equipped EXACTLY like that. It was kinda different, to say the least!
  14. It'sa CUTIE!!!!
  15. You CAN'T go WRONG with an MCRC kit. And YES, IF you kitbash, MARK the resin peices so you DON'T confuse them with the original styrene kit parts!!!(regular glue WON'T work!) They're THAT nice!!!!!
  16. Didn't know the gentleman, but my freinds did, and it's ALWAYS a sad occasion to loose a fellow modeler. Rest In Peace Scott. God Bless you and your family.
  17. VERY nice build. But I never saw a GTX with dog dish hubcaps. GTX's were the TOP of the line model and I NEVER saw one ,even NEW with those. They usually came with full styled wheelcovers OR the Magnum 500 styled wheel. I could very well be wrong, but I never saw one. Doesn't take a thing away from your beautiful model!
  18. These aren't the only wheels Danny casts. He's got ALOT of REALLY COOL stuff! You should see his Flywheel, clutchplates and clutch assemblys! ALL his stuff is SUPER DETAILED! You CAN'T go wrong with his stuff!!!!
  19. These wheels came in MOST of the STOCK early MPC vette kits. They look pretty good, too, if I say so myself!
  20. Thierry, I DON'T see no disaster. I see a BEAUTIFUL truck in the makeing!!! I WISH someone (a Model Co.) would make this as a regular kit. It's probably one of the most beautiful designed trucks on the road. I get REAL tired of seein ALL the same crackerbox semi tractors. At least THIS style was UNIQUE! I still like this truck ALOT!!!
  21. The 66 2+2 WAS built on the Grand Prix shorter wheelbase, so THAT IS the correct wheelbase.
  22. This was the body that took aver 8 months and threats of reporting him to E-Bay that got me MY 68 GTO. I built it stock after opening up the hood. It would be NICE if the added the 68 ONLY Dashboard! I got mine from Steve Mullberry, the guys a GREAT modeler and forum brother!
  23. It's BEAUTIFUL Harry! You did an EXCELLENT job on this. VERY impressive!! You dun guud!!!
  24. Thanks Casey, Imma be on the lookout for that rascal. Imma get one if it KILLS somebody!!!!
